Study On The Works' Unsafe Behavior: Effective Factors Analysis, Empirical Research, And Countermeasures

The situation of safety in production of China is still quite severe, and total number of accidents which was caused by workers'unsafe behavior is increasing. But the study of the unsafe behavior is not getting much more attention because it is not clearly about what has caused the unsafe behavior and the pattern and relate coefficient between the factors and unsafe behavior.This paper was beginning from the study of the literature of unsafe behavior in English and Chinese: analyzed and concluded the factors which would affect the emergence of unsafe behavior; and then preliminary affirmed the factors by investigation and literature study; at last used the method of AHP (analytical hierarchy process) to arrange them according to importance. (Chapter 2 & 3)This paper classified the factors which had been confirmed above to inside and outside factors. Inside factor means the personal factor, the outside one means the stuff around the person. This paper put forward the safety trait theory to be the foundation of the study of inside factor, established the model of inside factor according to it; and then established the model of outside factor from the group, environment, and leadership factors. (Chapter 3)In the part of analysis of"IF", the paper established the"Unsafe Behavior Inside Factors Questionnaire". After testing the Reliability & Validity, the paper did the overall analysis, otherness of demography and unsafe behavior; validate the inside model; give the concept of integrate factor, and discuss the result and otherness. (Chapter 4)In the part of analysis of"OF", the paper established the"Unsafe Behavior Outside Factors Questionnaire"which was made up of three branch questionnaires. After testing the Reliability & Validity, the paper did validate the outside model, and gained the relate coefficient between factors and unsafe behavior. (Chapter 5)At last, the paper proposed suggestions on countermeasures to reduce and eliminate unsafe behavior. The suggestions include workers'safety quality project, safety environment project, and safety management project. (Chapter 6)The paper enriched the unsafe behavior theory, epurate the core factors which affect the unsafe behavior, proposed suggestions on countermeasures.
