Fire is one of the major hazards. Combustion state analysis is the important basis of fire prediction and the hermetic closure opening in coal mines. This dissertation analyzes the combustion state using theoretical analysis, laboratory experiment and field experiment,discusses the combustion source location by qualitative and quantitative analysis mothod and the fumes and smoke attenuating along the direction of the roadways under different cross-section shapes. Some main influences of CO adsorption and the critical mass for predicting the spontaneous combustion under the condition of CO existing in coal seams are discussed basing on the low-temperature oxidization experiment which compared with other coal mines of Kailuan area. The criterions for judging the state by the indicator gases are put forward which eliminated the effect by the air flow and the environment. And the factor effected the basal information taken in for the combustion state analysis, such as the pressure, is analyzed particularly. According to the recent advances and the study of the dissertation, it sums up some judgment criteria for analyzing the fire in the hermetic closure and tests the fire zone of Cuijiazhai coal mine using the judgment criteria. It can provide the technical support for the fire prevention work.
