The auger drill miner is a kind of mining equipment for thin and ultra-thin seams mining, which can also be used to mine the side cape coal, the"three-unders"pressed coal, the broken up coal seam with loose plank and to retrieve various coal pillars. Especially, the auger drill miner is suitable for mining the protective seams to change the stress-strain state and gas dynamic state on outburst danger seam, which can prevent the coal and gas outburst. The application of the auger drill miner can not only improve the recovery rate of the coal resource, but also realize manless face mining. So it is a green mining technology and has a huge market potential in the coal mining. Because of the lack of research on its design and application, this technology can not adapt better to requirement of coal mining.The thesis analyses the research status and development trend of the design and application technology for the auger drill miner, and puts forward the main existing problems. The thesis studies the theoretical principle of cutting coal with auger drill miner, and presents two modes of cutting coal with pickax-shape bits. Through establishing the mathematic movement and the mechanics model of aiguilles and simulation analysis, the optimum mathematic model for cutting bits is built, and the calculation formula with the main dynamics parameters of aiguilles is educed.The thesis builds up reaction model between coal seam and aiguille, taking considers in anisotropy of coal seam, and defines two parameters to respond the deviation rules of coal seam by the model. Deviated force of drilling assembly is related with pressure, radial clearance of stabilizer, the first beam column, and so on. By soluting three-moent equations, it finds the relationship between the forward fators and deviated force, and gives corresponding antisway measures on this base. The thesis verifys the correctness of analysis and effectivenes of measures tentatively by finite element simulation. Combining with forward analysis, it also gives three pieces of principle on drilling assembly optimization and designes parameters of auger rod by fuzzy optimization.The thesis studies on the clinometer of aiguille. The clinometer adopts tilt angle sensor to measure the inclination angle first, and then amplifys the parameters information measured, and through the sampling holder to transmit the information to control system. The control system handles and compares the received information, and detects the deviation between the actual inclination angle and the given value, and then sends out the control order to drive the inclination correction mechanism. According to the control order, the inclination correction mechanism for aiguille sends out order to hydraulic solenoid vales, and controls the cylinder extension of hydraulic system to adjust the aiguille skew and realize the directional drilling of aiguille. Furthermore, the thesis presents the technical indexes and entire design plan for gas search device of auger drill miner. The device collects the real-time on-site parameters underground by gas monitoring alarm system, applied maturely in coal mine, and makes security control through comparing values collected and presetted by substation single-chip processor. It can realize signal transmission and control for distance.The thesis does researches on optimum roadway design, gas pre-extraction processing and negative pressure extraction of high flow coal face, and then determines the mining technology arrangement of high gas and thin seam for auger drill miner as well as reasonable coalface parameters. All above open up a new application approach for auger drill miner on fields of mining released seam.The aiguille and complete machine is manufactured using the mathematic model presented in this thesis, and the industrial tests are accomplished in Hanqiao coal mine 7609W working face of Xuzhou coal mining group. The results investigate that the prototype is stable and reliable. Comparing the drilling deep and the pushing bit pressure has verified the correctness of analysis and effectivenes of measures.
