| On the basis of Prof Zhang Qi's experience in the treatment of hematuria caused by IgA, the researcher discussed deeply the differentiation of syndrome and disease mechanism of IgA. She indicated that the differentiation of syndrome was deficiency of Qi and Yin accompanied with damp-heat and blood stasis,related the parenchymatous viscera of lung,liver and spleen, the treatment methods should be tonifying Qi andYin, removing blood heat, stopping bleeding, and eliminating damp-heat as well as promoting blood circulation and stopping blood stasis. On the above, she treated 35 cases with IgAN with Shen-Xue-Ning. In order to study the mechanism of IgAN, the researcher made an experiment with animal and observed pathological change of kidney tissue and IgA, IgG, FN, TNF- a expression in kidney, RBC in urine, 24 h quality of urinary protein, kidney function and ?2-MG with optical microscope, electron microscope, immunofluorescence and immunohistochemical method. The result: 1. compared with control group with Xue-Niao-An. The treatment group with Shen-Xue-Ning capsule was better in improving symptoms and sign, reduced urinary protein, RBC and kidney function; 2. Shen-Xue-Ning capsule can inhibit mesentery cell hyperplasia and extracellular matrix collection of glomerular by regulating FN in kidney; 3. Shen-Xue-Ning capsule can also reduce immunoglobulin and consistency of IgA-FN, improve the injury of glomerular; 4. Shen-Xue-Ning capsule can reduce the immune injury of kidney tissue caused by cell factors by decreasing density of blood IL-6 in urine and regulating TNF- a expression in kidney; 5. Shen-Xue-Ning has effect of preventing IgAN by improving pathological injury of renal tubules and glomerular.The above result indicated Shen-Xue-Ning capsule has effect of the treatment and prevention of IgAN, which provided scientific basis for further application.
