Background and object Lung cancer has not only become the most frequent malignant cancer which is increasing fastest among all the tumors, but also become the first killer which threatens human health and life in the world. Tumor invasion and metastasis are the key causes that result in failure to cure and patient's death. It has been proved that the invasion and metastasis of lung cancer is regulated by multiple genes, which is extremely complicated. In this process, some genes act as positive regulator, and the others act as negative regulator. Many studies have proved that there is a significant relationship between decreased expression of nm23-Hl and an aspect of aggressive clinical course (patient survival, lymph node metastasis) in lung cancer, while MAPK pathway may be the downsteam signaling cascade that involved in the process of nm23-H1 on suppressing lung cancer's metastasis. Kinase sppressor of Ras...
