Nowadays more and more studies have shown that an increased incidence rate of Essential Hypertension is on going. With the high coefficient of injury of the complication and low quality of life, the Essential Hypertension has aroused general concern of the medical profession, especially for research on the prevention and treatment. The Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)theory of constitution has long been playing an important part on the stage of history for the prevention and treatment of diseases. At present, there has a little research on the relationship between essential hypertension and TCM constitution, and this study aims to implement a preliminary research on the correlation of essential hypertension and TCM constitution to provide new ideas for the prevention and treatment of to the disease.PurposeThis study were reviewed epidemiology essential hypertension physical and current research basis, through the theory research and further clinical research, discusses the primary hypertension living quality and mental state and the relevance of TCM constitution for comprehensive, feasible and effective constitution provides a basis for tertiary prevention medicine.MethodsLiterature Study:The form of traditional Chinese medicine to review about the constitution and primary hypertension epidemiology research situation, development trend and problems.Theoretical research:based on the theory of TCM constitution, to discuss the primary hypertension TCM pathogenesis understanding of disease, in traditional Chinese medicine and the problems existing in the research field.Clinical Research:Clinical epidemiological investigation:the use of hospital-based case-control study, researchers from the application fo a unified questionnaire of 448 cases and 448 control group carried out surveys to collect epidemiological data. Research were divided into three parts.①Explore the type of TCM constitution of essential hypertension: use scale to study the data, and resolution the merge-constitution into constitution-essential-factor, and then used logistic regression method to explore the type of TCM constitution of essential hypertension. In the process of Logistic-related statistics, there was a need to carry out the diagnosis of multi-collinearity, goodness of fit test. Finally, to make three-grade prevention system of TCM constitution on essential hypertension.②Research of the relationship between constitution and the mental state of essential hypertension:③Choose Hamilton anxiety depression scale investigation cases, analysis the mental state of collecting cases, combined with the pathogenesis of hypertension, through the descriptive statistics and Logistic regression draw hypertension mental status and physical relat ionship.ResultsClinical Research:④After split the merge-constitution into constitution-essential-factor, TCM constitution for essential hypertension of single-factor non-conditional Logistic analysis revealed that:normal constitution, yang deficiency constitution. yin deficiency constitution and phlegm and damp constitution of their corresponding p values less than 0.01,the OR for normal constitution 0.464, OR for yang deficiency constitution 0.356, OR yin deficiency constitution 2.371, OR for phlegm and damp constitution 2.471. TCM constitution for essential hypertension of multi-factor analysis of non-conditional Logistic regression equation shows that:Logit (p)=ln (p/l-p) =0.63-1.101×1 (normal constitution)-1.001×2 (yang deficiency constitution)+0.754×3 (phlegm and damp constitution)-0.501x4 (yin deficiency constitution)②Primary hypertension group panic attacks far outweigh the high blood pressure groups (one group is 7.74±8.312; the other is 3.00±4.513), p value less than 0.01, Logistic regression found that although qi depression has nothing to do with hypertension develops qualitative, but for hypertension anxiety happened was statistically significant correlation between quality and depression, and the occurrence of Yin is irrelevant. High blood pressure group depressie episode is far less than the high virtual also population (one group is 2.11±4.879; the other is 8.17±11.188), rank and inspection P value less than 0.01.③Cases between ergometry PF, BP, GH, VT, SF, RE, MH, RP s ignif icant difference between the two groups, the mean no significant differences by comparative case group PF (physical function), GH (overall health), VT (dynamic), SF (social activities function), RE (daily spiritual activities function), MH (mental health) were less than the normal group, BP (physical pain) higher than normal group.Conclusion1 By exploring relationship between TCM constitution and Essential hypertension, for the first time the merge-constitutionwas split into constitution-essential-factor. To establish of yin deficiency constitution, phlegm and damp constitution were regarded as risk factors of essential hypertension, normal constitution and yang deficiency constitution were found to be a protective factor of essential hypertension.2 A three-grade prevention system of TCM constitution on essential hypertension has been made:primary prevention aimed at early life, for food, spiritual, exercise and other aspects of prevention secondary prevention aimed at screening high-risk groups by essential hypertension personal health management, and promote health from the diet, lifestyle, sports, exercise, emotional adjustment, to prevent controllable risk factors of essential hypertension, to improve risk constitution and restore the body's yin and yang balance, tertiary prevention aimed at of essential patients, the main measures is to take on treating by differentiation of individual, spirit conditioning, physical exercise and living environment to adjust, and active treatment of disease, to prevent the occurrence of fractures.
