Objective:To objectively evaluate the program combines Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of elderly patients with hypertension and improve the quality of life of the efficacy and advantages. Methods:60 patients with standard-compliant hypertensive patients were randomly divided into a test group of 30 patients in control group 30 cases. The treatment group on the basis of conventional western medicine according to TCM Syndrome Differentiation plus traditional Chinese medicine treatment with the corresponding control group were given conventional western medicine treatment, observed changes in blood pressure before and after treatment and quality of life assessment. Results:Clinical studies have shown that combining Chinese and Western medicine program has a good antihypertensive effect of antihypertensive total effective rate was 93.9%, 24h decline in the value of ambulatory blood pressure compared with the control group statistically significant differences in the quality of life after treatment than before treatment the indicators showed significant improvement in the test group a number of indicators much better than the control group. Conclusion:on the basis of conventional Western medicine, combined with the appropriate TCM Differential Treatment of the treatment of elderly patients with hypertension and improve the quality of life and effective method for combining Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of elderly patients with hypertension and improve the quality of life research new thinking and methods.
