Compound Sang Cents Particle Therapy In Elderly Hypertensive Patients, Clinical And Experimental Research

Objective To investigate the effect and discuss mechanisms of Compound Sang Xian Granule (CSXG) on hypertension ,whose function is to nourish kidney and activate blood. Methods Eighty middle and elder patients were randomly devided into CSXG group and Niu Huang .Jiang Ya pill(NHJY) group .The treatment lasted for four weeks . Results The results showed that compared to NHJY, CSXG could significantly decrease blood pressure(BP) ,improve symptoms , increase blood supply of the heart and brain, reduce the albuminuria, modulate blood ipid ,blood ugar and blood rheology , increase the level of dominant sexual hormones, decrease vessel active substance At the same time, CSXG could lessen BP Of SHR and RHD ,be beneficial to left ventricle mass, modulate the secretion of endothlin ,nitric oxide , renin activity and Angiotensin ,protect endothelial cells and rqverse the proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cells(VSMC) , but had no influence on the hemodynamics .Conclusion CSXG has functions as protecting endothelial function , restraining renin-angiotensin system and advancing the level of sex steroids , which probably may account for the prevention and treatment of EH and syndrome.
