BANXIAXIEXIN GANCAOXIEXIN SEHNGJIANGXIEXIN decoction derived fromTREATISE ON EXOGENOUS FEBRILE DISEASE , they are similar in many wayssuch as features of prescription formulation indicate and so on. 20different combination of BANXIAXIEXIN decoction and its analogusaccording to the uniform design layout, gastric juice analysis in ratsand gastrointestinal motility in mice was performed. Stepwise regressionanalysis was adopted to estimate the relationship between thepharmacological data and compatibility. Results: 1 Fructus Ziziphi Jujubae and Rhizoma Pinelliae all playedimportant role, Fructus Ziziphi Jujubae first, it could remarkablyincrease gastric acid secretion; Rhizoma Pinelliae second, it could reducegastric acid secretion. Fructus Ziziphi Jujubae could improve the pepsinactivity remarkably, the interaction of Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens andRadix Glycyrrhizae could also increase the pepsin activity , theinteraction of Fructus Ziziphi Jujubae and Radix Glycyrrhizae couldreduced the pepsin activity remarkably. Rhizoma Pinelliae RhizomaCoptidis could reduced the amount of gastric mucus remarkably, theinteraction of Rhizoma Zingiberis Fructus Ziziphi Jujubae and RhizomaPinelliae could increase the amount of gastric mucus. 2 BANXIAXIEXIN decoction could not promote or inhibitgastrointestinal movement in normal mice , GANCAOXIEXINSEHNGJIANGXIEXIN decoction could restrain gastric emptying in normalmice , but could not take effect on small intestinal propulsion function.Radix Scutellariae markedly inhibited gastric motility, the interactionof Radix Scutellariae and Radix Codonopsis Pilosula could promote smallintestinal propulsion function. 3 BANXIAXIEXIN decoction could significantly antagonize the delayedgastric emptying and intestinal motility induced by atropine,GANCAOXIEXIN and SHENGJIANGXIEXIN decoction could not antagonize thedelayed gastric emptying induced by atropine, but could facilitate thedelayed small intestinal propulsion. Fructus Ziziphi Jujubae RhizomaCoptidis and Radix Glycyrrhizae all significantly effected the delayedgastric emptying induced by atropine, the interaction of RhizomaABSTRACT 5Zingiberis and Radix Glycyrrhizae worked on the delayed small intestinalpropulsion markedly. 4 Radix Scutellariae Radix Codonopsis Pilosula could inhibit thegastric emptying excess, Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens could restrain thesmall intestinal excess induced by neostigmine.In order to validate the above results, experimental investigation wasperformed in vivo. The results showed increasing the dosage of FructusZiziphi Jujubae in BANXIAXIEXIN decoction could promote gastric acidsecretion in rats and New Zealand rabbits. Furthermore, the effect ofBANXIAXIEXIN decoction and its kinds on parietal cells in vitro was studiedwith drug-contained serum, the results indicated the regulation ofBANXIAXIEXIN decoction and its kinds on gastric acid secretion throughnot only humoral factors but also neural factors. Conclusion: 1 Different medicinal ingredients do not equal in status ,complicatedinteraction was confirmed among different medicinal ingredients in aprescription. 1.1 Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens can reduce pepsin activity ofrats,improve small intestinal propulsion function of mice,and canantagonize small intestinal excess of mice induced by neostigmine. Theinteraction of Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens and Rhizoma Zingiberis Recenscan improve pepsin activity remarkably, the interaction of RhizomaZingiberis Recens and Rhizoma Pinelliae make more delayed gastric emptyingserious. 1.2 Rhizoma Pinelliae can significantly decrease gastric acidsecretion,reduce the amount of gastric mucus,and can facilitate delayedsmall intestinal propulsion induced by atropine.The interaction ofRhizoma Pinelliae and Radix Codonopsis Pilosula can increase gastric acidsecreti...
