It has been a long history since the dissemination of the Chinese traditional music into Malaysia. Such an dissemination has accelerated the shaping up of characteristic Malaysian's Chinese native traditional music culture, which is an important part of Malaysia's multi-culture. The Chinese immigration, transformation of Chinese music as well as native Malaysian culture and policy has enforced immense effect on the change of Malaysian's Chinese native traditional music culture. Over passing a long-standing accumulation and development, it has shaped up an intact heritage system, which is mainly composed of Chinese music such as, local opera music from Chinese southeast seaboard (yue opera, Fujian opera), southern music, Guangdong music, Chaozhou music, and also possesses numerous cultural groups, performing grounds as well as performers. Meanwhile, with the lapse of time, synchronization of different nations, the changes of immigration's identity, such a cultural system also undergoes lots of changes in both its heritage contents,channels and purposes, all of which resulted in changes of playwriting, composing, orchestration and performing rules. This paper makes an intensive analysis of such a changes subjected to some representative Malaysia local cases and materials. Paper tries to present a panorama of such a change truth and rooting out its cultural, social as well as political reasons.
