The Song Jiaofang Music System

Jiao Fang is one of the most important court organization and gives full scope to the court music life in the Song Dynasty. This thesis is based on the general and systematic grasp about Jiao Fang in the Song Dynasty, starts with the exploration of the music system in Jiao Fang. From the investigation on the name of the Si Bu in Jiao fang , the year of combination of the Si Bu in Jiao fang, the influence of the Forty Da Qu, the musician in Jiao Fang, the year of the Court Dui Wu and so on , reveral the style and features of Jiao Fang in Song Dynasty on Chinese ancient musical history and its influence to the traditional music, make a reasonable evaluation about Jiao Fang ,and treat its historical role and action fairly .In this thesis, the author thinks that Yun Shao Bu is different from the Si Bu in Jiao Fang; the year when the combination of the Si Bu in Jiao fang is before A. D. 1057; the music system in Jiao Fang exerts a tremendous influence to the traditional music; we can find the mark which Jiao Fang left over from Forty Da Qu, Can Jun Se and Zhi Yu in Jiao Fang ; Zhi Yu is written by the the musician in Jiao Fang mainly; Dui Wu appears in the court banquet between the emperor Shen Zong and Xiao Zong . Jiao Fang plays not only in the court banquet, but also appears in some stately occasion . The music characteristic in Jiao Fang is both etiquette and custom, and this is the most important characteristic of Jiao Fang in the Song Dynasty .In the course of the study, stress on the investigation under the political - economical and culture background in Song Dynasty specially .
