The parts of the Mongols of the Right Wing who migrated Qinghai in the mid-period of the Ming dynasty was called Xihai Mongols, which changed the inhabiting pattern of the nationalities there. The Mongols has become the main nationality in Qinghai with the Zang nationality because of the migration of the Zang nationality, which lived in round of the Koke-nayur. The parts of Xihai Mongols joined the groups of the Zang nationality, the Tus and the Yugur in Qinghai. The Xihai Mongols played a leading role in course of that the Lamaism was eastern spread and entered The Mongols District The study about Xihai Mongols not only make up for a loss in history in the Mongols, the Ming dynasty, the Qinghai District and the Lamaism, but also contributes to national unity and social stability in Qinghai.The five chapters are as follows:Chapter I cover the entire situations of The Mongols in Qinghai before migration of Xihai Mongols.Chapter II introduces the Mongols tribes who entered Koke-nayur early and deeds of feudal lord of Xihai Mongols.Chapter III mainly introduces the conditions which the member of the offspring of Cinggis-qayan entered Koke-nayur and analyses the originand development of Xihai Mongols.Chapter IV explores the relation between the Mongols and the Ming dynasty, in the same as the relation between the Mongols and the ancient of the Zang nationality in Qinghai.Chapter V summarizes the reason of migration western and historical influence of Xihai Mongols and sums up this thesis.
