The subject of this article is Tibetan college students in Colleges and Universities for Nationalities. The article is to research the English learning of Tibetan college students. Practical investigation has been made in Central University for Nationalities, Northwestern University for Nationalities, Southwestern University for Nationalities and Tibetan College for Nationalities. The task of the investigation is to find out the main problems and the related problems about Tibetan college students' English learning and to obtain the first-hand materials and data as objective proof for the research by using the methods of Ethnology, Sociology, Education and English Linguistics. Furthermore, on the basis of the theories of the subjects of Education, English Linguistics and Psychology, further exploration and analysis have been done in order to put forward the author's personal ideas and suggestions.The research is of importance, reality and innovation. Due to geographic location, history and religion, Tibetan society's economy, education and technology develop slowly. The backward social productivity and low living standard hold back the development of the Tibetan society and make it keep a farther distance from the modern society.
