A Study Of Literature Letter In Ming Dynasty

There are many previous researches relating to the literature letter in Ming dynasty, amongst which much attention is paid to the late Ming dynasty and especially the literature letter of literator. Our aim is to expand our research to cover the whole range of literature letter in Ming dynasty. Therefore, in order to fill the gap, we attach much importance to the early literature letters and letters of those apart from literator, further more, we curve out the semblance of an integrate literature letters over all Ming dynasty period.Taking the development of history as longitude and the literature spirit as latitude, we interpret the literature spirit basing on the research of history state and features of literature letter. In detail, our research is composed of 3 parts: part 1 includes the first 3 chapters in our paper, in which the accurate definition of literature letter is given; the history before Ming dynasty is described; the introduction of contemporary Ming literature letter is summarized, and the relationship between Literature Letter and trend of thoughts in Ming dynasty is researched. Part 2 is composed of 5 chapters which is the main block of our paper. In this part, more details are given to the histo ry state of literature letter in Ming dynasty and literature semblance, and the literature spirit is deciphered. Through them, we hope to exhibit the profile of literature letter in Ming dynasty, and even more, in this profile, to curve out the expression of this series.It has already been shown in many dissertations that the literature letter in Ming dynasty had great affects on later generations. Whereas, these dissertations didn't reflect all the influences, for majority of them were restricted in late Ming dynasty or in just letters of literator. Therefore, in our 3^rd part, we analyze the influences that the literature letter in Ming dynasty has on Qing dynasty and Republic of China, in order that the acceptance and the transmission of literature letter in Ming dynasty are much clearer, and the readers can not only know the origins but also get a control on whole.Today, it has been hundreds of years since Ming dynasty ruined, so not all the literature works were handed down till now. Literature in late Ming can be preserved while those in early or middle Ming were rarely left, because most of them were denied by posterity's prejudice and parochialism. For this reason, the articles written by highly reputed people are not definitely famous, and the well-known articles are not surely the best works that the writer has ever written. There are even more examples that both the name and the article are not handed down from one generation to another. To make an integrate reflection of Ming dynasty literature letter, it's better to ignore those widespread but boringly discussed literature works, and dig out the long inundated beautiful articles again to make them exposed to public and make them really worthy. And that is our final goal to make this paper.
