In Harmony With Nature Study

The relation between human being and nature is an often-talked topic. It, greatly concerned by dialectical materialism, remains one of the main topics of ecological philosophy,and attracts universal attention; it is a basic problem to solve, and currently appears to be a more important issue of China for the research of the Scientific Outlook on Development and ecological civilization. On the whole, the harmonious coexistence relation between human being and nature results from interaction of human civilization and natural evolution. Therefore, harmonious coexistence becomes a basic point of this dissertation, and all other issues, including the evolution history, subject and object developing, reality orientation are logically based on it. This dissertation has seven parts, namely, introduction, five chapters and epilogue.The first part belongs to research foreshadowing. Facing complicated and severe problems of ecological environment, western scholars are active in exploring the balanced relation, regarded as a part of ecological ethics, between human beings and nature; Japanese scholars, triggered by pollution and ecological crisis, focus on the philosophic studies of the relation between human beings and nature; while Chinese scholars, from the perspective of new ecological civilization, try to set up the relation between human beings and nature. What I want to do in this part, as a logic premise of philosophic studies based on previous research achievements, is to properly locate the dimension of studies on the idea of harmonious coexistence, to provide an explanation of the thread and methods of dissertation, and to summarize emphasis, difficulties and innovations of this dissertation.An attempt has been made first to explain thinking evolutions, historical characteristics and practice roots of harmonious coexistence between human beings and nature in the history of philosophy. Thinking evolutions includes three levels of negation of the negation, which appear to be original unity of ancient times, separation of modern times, and opposition and collision of current times. The three levels produce the thought that heaven and man unite as one, the concept that nature be dominated by man, and the idea that man and nature exist in harmony respectively; some most representative philosophic scholars and thoughts were chosen to sort out and summarize the related thought.Chapter two consists almost entirely of a close analysis of the essential content of harmonious coexistence between human beings and nature. It, carrying out a breakthrough of the previous research mode started simply from a certain discipline, seeks to clarify the conformity of harmonious coexistence between human beings and nature with natural view of Marxism in essence, and the similarity of ecological humanism, as the theoretical core of harmonious coexistence between human beings and nature, with the Scientific Outlook on Development, with a basis on analyzing implications of the three concepts of human beings, nature and harmonious coexistence from the perspective of philosophy. Furthermore, there comes out value rationality, instrumental rationality, moral rationality and cultural rationality on the basis of analysis on evaluation and reflection of the four levels, namely significance, result, norm and aesthetic feeling of harmonious coexistence between human being and nature.The third chapter is an argument which attempts to demonstrate that human beings are the key factor in achieving the idea of harmonious coexistence between them and nature from the dimension of subject, and an deduction that human being should play the key role in harmonious coexistence between human beings and nature comes out after the analysis on the medium between human beings and nature. It is firstly argued that human beings should coexist with nature due to the internal requirements of their survival and development. The approaches to realizing harmonious coexistence between human beings and nature by ways of scientific production labor, humanized science and technology and rationalized social system are demonstrated later on.Chapter four is to review the necessity and inevitability of harmonious coexistence between human beings and nature at the objective level from the dimension of object. Starting from the harmonious requirement of material and energy exchange between internal nature and external nature, it aims to provide an explanation that nature itself and human beings themselves should keep stable and poised, that is to say, the essential relation between human being and nature. Furthermore, it emphasizes the importance of harmonious coexistence between human beings and nature, by revealing that natural revenge results from the overacting of human beings.Currently, giant changes of ecology, under the guidance of harmonious coexistence between human beings and nature, are discussed in detail in chapter five from the dimension of reality. At the ecological level, recognition of value and concept of development are transformed to sustainable civilization view of ecology affected by the idea of harmonious coexistence. Economically, harmonious advances ecological factors gradually into the production field, and an internal structure is produced for the ecological mode of production for circular economy and law-carbon economy. Influenced by harmonious coexistence, ecological issues become the new content of international and internal politics. Socially speaking, the lifestyle of human beings satisfies the green requirement of consumption products and results so as to carry out impartiality and equity and build a harmonious society. There is a requirement of harmonious coexistence for science and technology to bring into play the harmonious function of them, helping with the achievement of coordination state. It concludes in the epilogue on the basis of practice orientation that China should go a resource-saving way of development and construct an environment-friendly society guided by the Scientific Outlook on Development.
