The reason of the environmental problems coming into being is the incorrect understanding to the relations of human and nature from the deep level, namely environmental ethics problem. Therefore, to resolve the environmental problems should not only depend on science and technology and the law, but also make an appeal to environmental ethics. Education can promote sustainable development and improve people's environmental ethics accomplishment. So, people begin to concern environmental ethics education. Geography subject is a predominant subject that permeates environmental education. But it mainly limits to impart the knowledge of environmental science. It doesn't excavate thoroughly the ethical composition of itself. Therefore, it is necessary to research environmental ethics education of geography subject. The research not only contributes to improve actual effect of geography subject permeating environmental education, but also contributes to promote the value and the function of geography subject.The theoretic foundation of the research tries to construct on the theoretic foundation of geography, environmental ethics, pedagogy, environmental education and psychology etc. The method that the research adopts is the combination of the academic research and practical research. The research method that the academic research mainly involves is literature method and comparative method. Investigation research regards questionnaire survey as its major research method, and regards interview as an assistant method. The research aims to construct goal system and content system of environmental ethics education of geography subject in middle school, which base on excavating the connection between geography subject and environmental ethics education, and examining present condition of geography subject implementing environmental ethics education. In addition,the research puts forward the improving strategy according to the existent problems. The research mainly obtains the following results.Firstly, in order to thoroughly excavate the factors of environmental ethics education from geography subject, the research inquiries into the connection between geography subject and environmental ethics education from two dimensions. One dimension is the connection between geography and environmental ethics, and the other dimension is the connection between geography course in middle school and environmental ethics education. Secondly, the research carries on the present condition inquisition of geography subject in middle school permeating the environmental ethics education with students and geography teachers as the research object. From the investigation, we can conclude that the level of the students' environmental ethics accomplishment and the condition of the geography teachers permeating the environmental ethics education are all not ideal.Thirdly, the research constructs goal system of environmental ethics education of geography subject in middle school on the base of the related research literature and the geography teachers' standpoint. The research tries to divide the goal system into three levels. The goal system contains general goal and sub-goal. On base of the general goal, the goal system develops sub-goals from three dimensions, which are cognition, affection and behavior. Cognitive goal domain mainly contains five sub-goals. Affective goal domain also mainly contains five sub-goals. Behavior goal domain mainly contains four sub-goals.Fourthly, the research constructs content system of environmental ethics education of geography subject in middle school on the base of the related research literature and the geography teachers' standpoint. The content system is around the academic and practical level to develop. The content system mainly involves the following contents of the environmental ethics education, which are natural value and natural right, respect the natural regulation, fair principle, population ethics, resources ethics, environment ethics, development ethics, production ethics, consume ethics and global ethics. The goal system and the content system not only have certain grade, but also contain contents more completely. So the research achieves certain breakthrough comparing with the same kind research.Fifthly, the research puts forward improving strategy of geography subject permeating efficiently environmental ethics education according to the existent problems of the present condition investigation. The suggestions are as followed. Geography course should choose and deploy reasonably contents of environmental ethics education. The choice of the teaching method should be beneficial to develop the students'environmental ethics accomplishment. The study evaluation of geography subject should pay attention to evaluating the students' environmental ethics accomplishment. The teachers'training of geography subject should pay attention to improving the level of the teachers'environmental ethics education.The above-mentioned conclusion that the research achieves will have a reference value for later congeneric academic study and practical research.
