The integration of motor skills theory and basketball practice,and the research into the stage model discussing the development of basketball skills and the factors influencing the performance of skills can provide basketball teaching and training with foundation of scientific theory for motor skill.And further perfect the theory system of basketball.All of these have important guiding meaning for improving the level of basketball teaching and training.In this paper,three targets have been achieved.Firstly,this paper has analyzed the characteristics of skills theory in the formation of basketball skills.Secondly,the research has founded a four-stage model of the forming of basketball skills.Thirdly, this paper has discussed the factors which affect the individual performance of basketball skills and analyzed the causation which affect the team performance of basketball skills by allowed fault principle.Mainly with the theory and viewpoint of Motor Skills,aiming at the relevant problems in the process of the learning and controlling of basketball,with documents, comparing,concluding,synthesizing logical methods,this research has done deep investigation and discussion.Moreover,it gets some progress or achievements in the problems the predecessors have never referred to or talked little and drew the following conclusions in different hierarchy.(1) Technique and tactics are the special components that make up the basketball skills,and the motion diathesis,the perceptual motor ability and the mentality are common components.(2) The process of the development of basketball skills can be classified into four stages including "basic technique study","tech-tactics combination study", "tech-tactics application","tech-tactics self-organization creation".Especially,the putting forward of the self-organizing creation stage of technique and tactics breaks the traditional mode which describes the level of skill by automatic-stage.The four stage-models take the game as the main circumstance of the new self-organizing stage of skills and tactics,which incarnated the holistic characteristics about the course of basketball skill learning and practicing.(3)The four stage-models makes us realized clearly that the circumstance of learning and training is not consist with that of competition.Therefore,the characteristics of changing environment determine that the type of basketball skills has both open and closed features.(4) In the basketball game,self-organizing actions indicate that not all the practicing course of skills and tactics is set down by actions.However,there will be a given mode of skills and tactics control when certain conditions and characteristics appeared in the game.(5) Speed,accuracy,motion effect and adoption are four decisive factors which affect the performance of basketball tech-tactics and in all they reflect the level of the basketball skills.Every basketball player is one of the hardware resources that make up the basketball tech-tactics operating system.Redundant resource and precise organizing are two important factors affecting the performance of basketball skills and tactics.
