The teaching usually goes with varieties of accidental and random events.How to deal with them in class demands the teaching tact from the teachers.Teaching tact is the inherent requirement of high-quality teaching,which can make full use of different educational resources in class.However, due to its intrinsic characteristics,such as urgency of the situation in class and uncertainty in action, the profound research of teaching tact is still quite deficient.Therefore,this article aims at studying the problem and at understanding it better,thus contributing to improving the teaching quality.Approximately,this article attempts to answer the following three questions.(1) What does teaching tact mean?(2) How does teaching tact initiate?(3) Are there any advice to initiate teaching tact under the current educational circumstances?Accordingly,this dissertation consists of three parts.The first part,as Chapter I,mainly interprets teaching tact itself,and answers the question, "What does teaching tact mean?" Teaching tact is the creative actions with pedagogical meaning that an instructor initiates instantaneously in certain situations,bearing the features practical,educational, creative,situational,economical and so on.Teaching tact is different from teaching art,teaching experience,teaching theory,teaching methods,as well as all kinds of other educational behaviors.In the current context,it is often interpreted a panacea with which the instructor successfully deals with the embarrassing situations appearing in class.But it is not comprehensive enough,because not only does it limit the educator's initiative and creativity to bring into play,but it greatly narrows the extension of teaching tact.Therefore,this study generally agrees that the current teaching tact just applies to the occasion in the form of "fire fighting",known as passive teaching tact.On the contrast, this study also puts forward to the concept of initiative teaching tact,which means the educator initiates a totally new form of understanding and using the teaching resources in his/her familiar teaching context.On the basis,we should re-position the viewpoint of teaching tact.Teaching tact is a kind of real teaching instead of being seen as a trick in the current education context,and it has extensive and far-reaching significances for both the professionalizing development of the teachers and education reformation.The second part,as Chaptersâ…¡andâ…¢,focuses on the influential factors and the process of teaching tact,and answer the second question above,"how does teaching tact initiate?" There are three influential factors of teaching tact.The first is the educator.For teaching tact is a kind of teaching behavior,the teaching habitus,intention and emotion of the educator will have a direct impact on their actions.The second is education situations.As the first teaching environment of initiating teaching tact,education situations not only are the objectivity,but also include the subjective feelings.In details,they involve the instructor,the teaching time and the atmosphere in class.The third is the emergence of new ideas.The creativity of teaching tact is on the premise that the new ideas come into being.So,whether a teacher is able to generate new ideas or not is an important factor that affects the generation of teaching tact.On the surface,teaching tact happens momentarily,but there is still a certain process.This study explores the logical process.The process can be summed up as follows.First of all,the teacher keeps sensitivity to the problems in class.Then he/she recognizes and explains them.Finally,the teacher makes an appropriate response on the basis of the generated new ideas.In the process,the teacher must also have a reflection in action to ensure that the action as a whole is rational and situational.The third part,as Chapterâ…£,puts forward to some suggestions for initiating teaching tact,and answer the question,"Are there any advices to promote initiating teaching tact under the current educational circumstances?" In this study,the influential factors and the arising process of teaching tact are named the "conditions" which cause the "facf"of teaching tact.Normally,we can put forward to some suggestions directly on the basis of these conditions.In order to make the proposal more practical and realistic,this study,at very beginning,analyses what factors negatively affect teaching tact on the current education circumstances,and then,on the basis of the" conditions" and the problems occuring the current education circumstances,makes comprehensively some improving suggestions which help to initiate teaching tact.The suggestions include three aspects:from the external environment,the teacher should be entitled to autonomous teaching which is the necessary preconditon to initiate the teaching tact.From the building of teaching situations,the teachers had better use a dialogue teaching method embodying equality and freedom,which is mainly from the perspective of the creative classroom.To the educator,he/she should have curriculum consciousness. The teacher should try to head forward from "knowing" to" acting",both in pre-and post-occupation. And in the routine,the teacher should persist in reflecting his/her teaching,instead of being enslaved by his/her teaching habitus.In the conclusion of this article,a metaphor is used that teaching tact is playing jazz,and teaching tact is regarded as the brilliant movement in high-quality teaching.But it isn't in conflict with the routine and plan of teaching.In fact,both of them could make a good complementarity.It is noteworthy that teaching tact is a kind of teaching,but not all of the teaching.The desire for teaching tact should be reasonably limited and should not be artificially overdrawn.
