Hutouya lead-zinc mine of Qaidam Basin southwestern margin is Located in Qimantage metallogenic belt which is seated in the combine place of north and south plate. The orefield is at high altitudes place; the natural environment is bad; the geological formation is complex; the lead-zinc grade is low, accompanying a lot of beneficial elements. This paper obtained perception as follows by geology surveying, ore occurrences, compiling of exploration engineering, the lithology, the chalcography, and the exploration geochemistry.Hutouya orefield exposure strata were mainly metamorphic rocks, carbonate and clastic rock of Langyashan group and lithologic section of sandstone, limestones and siliceous (Ptlnb-2) is the main ore-bearing layer. In 63 and 121 exploration line, the cutting layer phase, the primary tensile structures, flexing, and the metal mineral parallel bedding connecting nets pulse shape mineralization growed, and it suggest contemporaneous growth faulting exist. The alteration mainly distributed in the orebody footwall by F21 fracture. Breccias, grossular, hedenbergite and sphene are common.By the deposits exploration engineering, it are continuous that distribution of Pb(1.5-12.5%), Zn(0.15-1.85) and Cu(0.2-2%), and silver grade is obviously jumping. The variograms model of deposit shows, the Pb , Zn, Ag and Cu nugget is lower, and range are bigger in an east-west direction, the nugget is bigger, and range are lower in a north-south direction. Inferred resource was more than 7690000 tons estimated by the paper The industrial value minerals are mainly sphalerite, galena, and chalcopyrite etc, in which Zn of the sphalerite was partly instead of by Fe, and forming christophite.The major elements of Siliceous rocks showed the Sedex characteristics. SiO2(64.2-75.9%), TiO2(0.1-1.2), Al2O3(0.8-16.9%)and K2O(0.2-5.8%)are high. the Fe - Mn - (Co + Ni + Cu) x 10 diagrams of microelement showed similar conclusions. In addition, Co/Ni (0.18-0.81) of pyrite are less than 1, and theδ18OH2O-δDH2O diagrams of calcite H and O isotope shows the ore-forming fluid for atmospheric precipitation, it all explain the deposit was Sedex. The carbonate was chemical causes, without biological causes signs in orefield. The sedimentary bedding is not development, the rock is massive structure, and sedimentary rhythm is development. The depositional environment may be terraced slopes or adjacent basin. the Fe2O3/FeO average ratio of steel gray sandstone was closed to1, and Cu/Zn ratio is low, and Ba, Co content is high, and Sr/Ba ratiois relatively low. It suggests that sedimentary environment was the near edge basin, weak oxidizing, weak reduction, weak acidity, and no salinity.By Surface and drilling exploration geochemical data, the main elements zoning are PbZnAg (for BiWAsMn) - WBi (PbZnAg) - SbBSr - WBiCu (PbZn) - PbZnAg, in the 155-133 line, 133-129 line, 129-61 line, 63 line,and 63-8 line, and the main elements zoning is rough symmetrization by 105 line. Vertical element zoning are AgHgAsSbBBaMn - for PbZnCuWBiMo - CoNiCrSn (from up to down).The geochemical anomalies of orefield is rough symmetrization by 105 line, and iron ore bodies appear in 105 line, so inferred 105line existed underwater uplift areas, and two side may be "brine pools". The Ba, Mn anomalous is high in 133 line , 63and 7 line, and the distribution is continuous, so it may be "continuous brine pools".Bi, Cu is high, and Sb is low in 7 line, 63 and 121 line, at the same time homozygous fault exit in 63 and 121 line, so it may be exhalative entrance in the postions where the homozygous fault in 63 and 121 line intersect with F21. Prospecting prospect areas may be in the west of deposits, the east of 129 line, 7 and 13 line etc, and forecast that there were 5000000 tons of ore resources in the deep vision.The resourse was 7690000 tons,and discount rate is 9%, its economic value is 689.59 million yuan. In Black-Scholes model options, its economic value is 935.91 million yuan. Deep and peripheral vision resources is 5000000 tons, and Exploration cost effectiveness assessed value is 2.73 million yuan, and by thumb rule method, fthe value is 26.89 million yuan, and this paper argues that thumb rule method can better reflecting the value of vision resources.
