Since the1980s, along with basic geological work in full swing, the study continue to receive a new breakthrough, such as found in Yellow River Middle Proterozoic mafic group of top brass and copper ore-bearing rock in the point a large number of copper-nickel mineralization in the area have a good description of copper-nickel ore exploration vision.In the mineralization of this study under the guidance of theory and geodynamics of the study area copper-nickel mine to carry out research work, the study collected extensive area in the past, the materials, technology, remote and mineral exploration and other basic information, through a comprehensive analysis copper-nickel mine on the study area resources to carry out scientific research and evaluation, the southern section of the Longmen copper, nickel and other mineral resource potential of in-depth study of long-term target forecast for the region and laid the foundation for forming theory.Longmen Mountains into the southern section has a good geological and geochemical copper-nickel mining background, found that many mine sites within the region and mineralization. According to local geological conditions, the known distribution and genesis of mineral types and geophysical and geochemical anomalies in the study area were delineated and basic, ultrabasic rocks for copper, nickel prospect, from north east to the southwest followed by copper-nickel alloy top copper mineralization prospects Lushan area, top brass, copper-nickel mineralization Lushan prospective areas, Baoxing Church copper-nickel mineralization prospect, lead and zinc ore prospect area and the Pacific Lushan fire cliffs and other4copper-nickel anomalies mineralization potential of a good area, and found more than ten points and mineralization at the mine, discovered in the past had been considered to be "copper-pyrite-type copper-based" groups are produced in the yellow River in the green metamorphic rocks theory; by field survey and in-depth study of ore-bearing amphibolite protolith mafic-ultramafic rocks, which are associated with different levels of copper nickel mineralization, this article from the metamorphic rocks to restore the original look and deep ore mining to start in-depth study of the causes of copper-nickel deposits, the main types of the region as a "top brass" copper,"copper-top vain," copper (Ni) deposit, followed by "Church" of copper (including PGE) deposit, according to copper (Ni) geological and geochemical background of the region in the magmatic Cu-(Ni) sulfide ore deposit, ore still has good potential.
