The study area is located in the central Tianshan Late Paleozoic magmatic arc belt. Due to a long-term geological tectonic evolution, there is a good metallogenic condition in this area. Based on previous studies, the author started from the regional geological setting and metallogenic conditions to study the geological features of area, geochemical characteristics of rocks and characteristics of the ore-bearing rock mass.The main outcrops of this area are Carboniferous, Permian and Quaternary, and the Ps2and Chb are related to the mineralization. Faulted structures, which have two dominant groups of strike-NW and EW, are very common. Two sets of structure and its sub-structure are closely related to the mineralization. The rock body intruded in along the EW strike and was sedimentary contacted with the wallrock, partly by fault. Fractures, produced by fault, offer a favorable space for the mineralization. Through the interpretation of aerial photographs, there are lots of circular structures in the study area and it should be formed by the syenogranite. There are mainly four types of magmatites in this area: Fin-grained quartz diorite, syenogranite, diorite-porphyrite. The geochemical characteristic of major elements shoes that diate-acid magmatic rocks are rich in silicon, high potassium, aluminum over saturated calcium alkaline granitoids. Geochemistry characteristics of REE and trace element show that it has the features of arc-magmatic and homologous. Mineralized rocks are rich in silicon and alkali and aluminum, with calc-alkaine characteristics.It formed in compressional tectonic environment.Based on the study of geological characteristics, geochemical characteristics of rocks and information of geochemical exploration, the author puts forward that magmatic hydrothermal Cu polymetallic deposits can be found in this study area.
