This article is based on the Dalu valley landslide in the building alteration of Shannxiprovince state highway s303from Yan’an to Wuqi, to research to optimize the design ofanti-sliding pile based on performance. Firstly, the engineering geological condition andformation mechanism of Dalu valley landslide is investigated, and then the treating concept isproposed. Secondly, the2D finite element method model of the anti-sliding pile soil system iscreated, and the main factor of the anti-sliding pile reliability design is analyzed, then, thefinal reliability analyze model based FEM is decided. Lastly, the performance goal ofanti-sliding pile based on investigation-effectiveness principle is proposed, the anti-slidingpile optimized model and algorithm is achieved, and put this into practice. The main researchand results is:(1) With field investigation, engineering geological survey, boring and large shear test insitu, the formation mechanism of Dalu valley landslide is achieved. The special stratastructure, steep topography, artificial excavation of slope toe and long sustained intenserainfall compose the causes of reactivation of the old landslide. The deformation and failurepattern of the landslide is that, the landslide front is pushed and extrused, and the landslidemiddle is bedding glide, and the landslide tail is pulled and collapsed.(2) The uncertain factors and the statistic characteristics of the anti-sliding pile reliabilitybased on the anti-sliding pile soil system FEM model by ANSYS software is discussed.Analyze the method to acquire probability of the structural failure, combining with MonteCarlo Simulation method (MCS) and Response Surface Method (RSM) from ANSYS toinvent the anti-sliding pile reliability probability calculation process as well as the reliabilitycalculation FORTRAN source program based on the JC method which works with the FEMmodel order source to fulfill the calculation of the reliability. At last, the calculation of thereliability of the anti-sliding pile in the Dalu valley landslide treatment is analyzed, whichshows that the JC method is most effective, then the RSM and MCS.(3) With the detailed discussion of the anti-sliding pile optimization model based oninvestigation-effectiveness principle, the total cost of supporting structure in the life cycle of anti-sliding pile is analyzed. Then, the calculation model of the origin construction costC0, ofthe lost of CasualtiesC1f, of the house and inside lostC2f, of the road (railway, Hydraulic)engineering lostC3f, of the soil resource lostC4fand other lostC5f, etc, is proposed. In thelast, the basic thought and method of constructing the target performance of anti-sliding pilein the Dalu valley landslide treatment project is discussed in detail.(4)With the discussion of the complex optimized calculation method, the stabilityreliability calculation method of high loess slope with the residual thrust method and complexoptimization method is analyzed. Concentrating on the Dalu valley landslide treatment project,discuss the basic thought and method of creating the anti-sliding pile optimized model basedon performance and inventing the complex optimization calculation algorithm and the sourceprogram of the optimized model. The result of calculation example shows that theoptimization model and the calculation algorithm is worth relying on.
