Taking the north China coal hosting area as the research object, the thesis analyzes the influence of regional tectonic on coalfield structure deformation in view of structural coal control and its causes. It elaborates the causes and regularity of coal basin deformation from two aspects, the structural inhomogeneity of coal basin in both horizontal and vertical direction and external dynamic, introduces several typical deformation styles of coal-bearing strata and the combination pattern. Taking structural control as the main factor, considering the accumulation regularity of coal-bearing strata, it carries out the division of coal-bearing structure units in north China coal basin. In addition, taking north Qinshui basin as example, the method of geoscience comprehensive sectional drawing is introduced into the study of coalfield structure in the area with abundant data. Combined with subsidence history, tectonic stress field and paleostructure analysis, the structural division and evolution history of north Qinshui basin is described.
