Tectonic Evolution And Coal Hosting Pattern Research Of Southwestern Tarim Coal Basin

The southwestern margin of the Tarim Basin is an area with large potential to look for coal in southernXinjiang.Coal is directly related to the process of local economic development,and it has attracted theattention of domestic scholars in recent years.This paper analyzed evolutionary process of southwest areain Tarim Basin and the late coal-control structural pattern, under the guide of theory method includingstructural geology,seismic interpretation,remote sensing geology and coal geology,making the coal-bearingbasin in the southwestern margin of the Tarim Basin as the study subject,by collecting prospective coalresource survey data of Xinjiang geological prospecting units, drilling and seismic data of the petroleumsector,on the base of finding out coal source present situation of southwest area in Tarim Basin.Especially,this paper pay much attention on the control action,which acting on coal belt formation anddistribution,and from some structure factors including thrust faults,folds and nappe structure.Moreover,this paper studied on prototype basinthe present coal face, the present structure pattern andstructure style of coal series or coal bed of prototype basin,after the transformation of coal tectonicmovement,the paper summarized the coal-bearing area and main controlling factors of southwest area inTarim Basin.The results are as follows:1,Initially identified tectonic evolution of southwestern Tarim coal basin.2, The Coal Basin inSouthwestern Tarim Basin is mainly divided into Kashi coal basin, the Kyzyl ceramic coal basin,Yecheng-Hotan coal basins and the Buya coal-bearing basins.3,the main controlling factors of coalenrichment southwestern Tarim coal basin are ectonism, lake level changes and depositional environment.4the fold control coal, fracture-controlled coal and nappe type control coal are the main point of the studyarea, Especially the folds control coal structure.It provides the basis for future exploration evaluation and the region’s coal resource potentialprospects,under the study on the Coal Hosting Pattern of the southwest margin of the Tarim coal basin.
