Mineral resources are the material basis for human survival and development, withthe rapid development of China’s economy, to further accelerate the process ofindustrialization, exploration and development of mineral resources have a crucial role.However, the mineral resources are non-renewable resources, mineral resources,nowWithin the scope of global, located in the superficial part of the mineral resources areincreasingly reduced, and even some places have appeared on the verge of depletion ofmineral resources crisis. The reason is mainly due to since the founding of our country themajority of metal ores geological prospecting work is limited to500meters in shallow,limited mining reserves; With the advancement of China’s rapid economic developmentand sciencetechnology, especially in mining and dressing to improve the technical level,so increasing exploitation of mining resources, significantly reduce backup storage, thenewly discovered mineral reserves increased to keep up with growth in demand for serious,it would seriously restrict the rapid development of China’s national economy.Iron is the most widely utilized in mineral resources, the largest amount of a metal,its consumption accounts for about95%of total consumption of the metal,In recent years,more and more mining crisis, iron ore industry is particularly prominent. Search forconcealed deposits and deep energy and mineral resources exploration has become thefocus, Anshan-Benxi area is important to our country banded iron ore mining, has beenfound numerous large, very large iron ore deposits. Through the past geological datacollected regional geology, remote sensing, geophysics, geochemistry, drilling, DEM data,minerals, etc., Stratum, magmatic rocks, metamorphic rocks, minerals and construction of the study area were fully research and analysis, using Euler deconvolution method, such asgravity and magnetic data processing and interpretation techniques, based on gravity,magnetic, electronic data processing, based on magnetic carry heavy seismic inversion,carry heavy magnetic seismic inversion, integrated geological and geophysicalinterpretation and geological modeling of multi-level, through comprehensive researchand analysis of the construction of three-dimensional spatial distribution of iron rule,ultimately the formation of the iron ore reserves in the study area Prospective. Specificwork and achievements are as follows:(1) Gravity and magnetic data for the study area were analytical continuation,directional derivative, magnetic density inversion, Euler deconvolution and otherconventional data processing and iron to build a three-dimensional spatial distributioncharacteristics analysis, summed up the advantages of each method and limitations, theiron formation vision inference and prediction respectively.(2) The method and workflow of3D geo-modeling for complex area put forward and3D geo-modeling software of IGMod based on blocks(units) developed, build afoundation of carrying out a3D geo-modeling study for complex areas widely.(3) A Mesozoic granitic intrusive rock mass identified by gravity profile inversionand3D density inversion in the region of Benxi provides the power of iron ore gatheringrichly in Nanfen and Sishanling areas and reduces the potential in the deep greatly at thesame time.(4) On the basis of a comprehensive study of gravity and magnetic data, proposedfour deep geological structure in Anshan-Benxi area basement.(5) The save regularity of the iron-bearing formation was found. And the iron-bearingformation is saved well with the cap rock of the paleoproterozoic liaohe group orneoproterozoic erathem group.(6) The spatial distribution of the iron-bearing formation was deepen highly and thespatial distribution of the iron-bearing formation controlled strongly by Tanlu faults wasproved.(7) The drilling results with geophysical, geochemical and geological datacomparison, and further validate the deep geological research and three-dimensionalgeological modeling technology in the search for iron ore prediction works well.(8) For iron ore exploration in the gravity and magnetic data processing methods are summarized, pointed out the problems and deficiencies, and made recommendations forfurther study.
