In the information age of globalization, the imortance of translation is growing. Society’s need for translation personnel, foreign language personnel, both in quality and quantity are also put forward higher requirements. In recent years, translation ability has been a hot topic, and is also the top priority in translationteaching. The ultimate goal of translation teaching is to improve the translators’ translation ability, cultivating talents on translation.How to improve the ability of Korean students in Korean translation, produce more conform to social needs translation talents has become a pressing task. As we known, that translation is the translation process of the final product, only for the translation process to conduct a comprehensive research may reveal the translator’s translation steps, the difficulties of translation and translation strategies.In this paper, based on the information processing theory in cognitive psychology, tries to explore the translator to translate the original text of the mechanism. the main purpose is to better understand the cognitive process of translation. Through test, questionnaire survey, this paper find out the problems in translating ability, students’ translation ability weak link and the improved method, which is a effective way to improve the level of translation.Based on the results, and finally summarizes the method to improve the translation ability of learning, which is a translator in view of the weakness of their own capabilities and the need to gradually get translation ability training, and applied to teaching, and has a guiding significance for translation practice.This article is divided into six parts:the first part puts forward the necessity and purpose of the study, research methods and research scope. The second part points out the main theoretical basis of this research design and the research state of translation teaching in Korea. Third part with the help of cognitive psychology and hermeneutics, the in the mind of the translator in the translation process of cognitive process were analyzed. On this basis, in the fourth part of Korean professional grade two to grade four students for experimental research. Through the qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis of data gathered by the translator’s translation steps, the difficulties of translation and translation strategies used by. The fifth part focuses on what is a translation, translation ability of composition, and the influence of translation competence of the translator. According to the fourth part research conclusion, find a way to improve the translation ability effectively, make it applied in the translation practice and teaching. The sixth part is the conclusion, to summarize the study, and points out the value and deficiency of this study.
