According to the thermodynamic analysis of arsenic and antimony leaching, the solubility of As (?) was higher than Sb (?). Concentration of antimony and arsenic was stable in the solution when pH was 2 to 9. When pH was higher than 9, the solubility of arsenic increasesed rapidly. And the solubility of antimony also increased when solution pH was greater than 12. So the preliminary separation between arsenic and antimony can come true at pH range from 9 to 12.Efficient separation of arsenic and antimony in arsenic-alkali residue can be achieved by the combination of water leaching and alkali leaching, that arsenic antimony into a solution and continue in slag. After two stages leaching, more than 95% of arsenic can be leached and arsenic in the leach residue is less than 0.5%. Based on the dynamics of arsenic alkaline water leaching, it is concluded that arsenic water leaching process is controlled by chemical reaction. And leaching process conform to nuclear dynamics models of dense globose contraction:1-(1-?)/3=Kt. The apparent activation energy of the arsenic water leaching process was 15.140 kJ/mol under the corresponding test conditions.A special for antimony removal was selected according to difference study of the valence state of antimony compounds in aqueous solubility. Pentavalent antimony compounds with smaller solubility were prompted to precipitate from the aqueous solution using the oxidation performance of reagent. The degree of antimony oxide in the leachate can be controlled accurately by potential oxidation technology. So the deep separation and efficient recycling of arsenic were realized. The oxidation of antimony precipitation rate was above 90% under the best conditions.
