New nanocarbon materials have always been research focus.There are many kinds of new nanocarbon materials,and new nanocarbon made by the sp2 hybrid orbital carbon such as fullerenes,carbon nanotubes and graphene as the basis is the most interested in the research field.This is because the nanocarbon has good electrical conductivity and also many other excellent properties.In the preparation of new nanocarbon,in addition to the assembly of various types of sp2 carbon,but also doped,the introduction of defects,activation to increase its specific surface area and optimize pore size distribution,the as-made new nanocarbons have very good electrochemical performance in energy storage such as supercapacitors and lithium-ion batteries.We have prepared graphite paper by assembling graphene which made by annealing the graphite oxide film.The graphite papers have graphite-like structure with low density and large-scale industrial production with the size can be larger than 20×20 cm2 and controlled thickness.Graphite papers have high carbon purity,good thermal stability,excellent conductivity and reasonable thermal conductivity,and can convert electrical into light,which is,electroluminescence.Further,we prepare three-demensional porous carbon by activation of graphene with KOH and this process involves sponge as template.In addition,we prepared a new type of nanocarbon by activation of fullerene,when the amount of KOH is excess,carbon quantum dots will be made and three-demensional porous carbon which has high surface area with the majority of the micropores will be made with the moderate amount of KOH.Further,introduce ammonia gas in the activation process will effectively doped nitrogen in the three-demensional porous carbon and the nitrogen content can be controlled by changing experimental parameters.The three-demensional carbons mentioned above all have good performance in energy storage field like supercapacitors and lithium-ion batteries. |
