A Study Of Huixian Dialect Grammar

In this paper, we have a detailed analysis and summary of the Huixian dialect grammar phenomenons from three aspects.words, phrases and sentences. It consists of eleven chapters as follows:Chapter One:Introduction. It mainly introduces the basic situation of Huixian and Huixian dialect. It also introduces the research status of dialect grammar and Huixian dialect.The aim and main methods of study, the corpus sources and style are also briefly summarized.Chapter Two:Language affix. The language affix of Huixian dialect is rich and special. In accordance with the order of prefix, infix and suffix, there are three sections. We have a comprehensive and systematic description and explanation of the grammatical meaning and specific usage of each language affix.Chapter Three:Reduplication-pattern. In combination with the characteristic of the base type and repetiton and compared with the repetition of putonghua, in this chapter, we have a detailed description and analysis from three aspects, which are forms, meanings and functions. According to these, we investigate the reduplication of noun, verb, adjective, adverb and measure word in Huixian dialect.Chapter Four:Adverbs. The number and usage of adverbs in Huixian dialect is extremely rich. We combined with the general method and the actual situation of Huixian dialect, dividing the adverbs into seven categories:degree adverb?range adverb?mood adverb?time adverb?frequency adverb?modal adverb and affirm-deny adverb, which has a detailed classification and description. We also carry on the comparison and diachronic investigation with some adverbs in similar usage in Huixian dialect or mandarin.Chapter Five:We make an exhaustive description of the specific use of structural auxiliary word "Le (?) ", trying to show its basic outlook.Chapter Six:"X Ren (?) " structure. In this chapter, we mainly make a concrete analysis of self-perceptive structure "X Ren (?) " and structural auxiliary word "Le (?)". The former with word prototyping theories which named by professor Xing Fuyi to reclassify the "X Ren(?)" word family.Chapter Seven:Comparative sentence of Huixian dialect. We divided the comparative sentences of Huixian dialect into discrepancy comparison, superlative comparison, succession comparison, and equality comparison, adopting the traditional division of grammatical studies of comparative sentence. This chapter mainly introduces the peculiar comparative sentences of Huixian dialect. We disscussed the form of all kinds of comparative sentences, and combined with analysing the feature of mandarin comparative sentences. We focus on the unique characteristics of syntactic and semantic in Huixian "Bi(?)" comparative sentence.Chapter Eight:Question sentence. In this chapter, we make a detailed analysis and summary of the question system of Huixian dialect, combining with the doubt expression means.It mainly discusses on syntax form and semantic characteristics of yes-no question, alternative question, special question and positive and negative sentence. And comparing the question of Huixian dialect with the question of mandarin, we find that there are many formats of positive and negative question in Huixian dialect which using frequency is very high, meanwhile, we find that question mood word has important station in question of Huixian dialect.Chapter Nine:The passive sentence of the Huixian dialect. In this chapter, we examine the no-passive-mark sentence and passive-mark sentence of Huixian dialect. Especially, we make a detailed investigation and analysis to passive-mark " Jiao (?)", "Gei (?)" and collocation of "Jiao (?) ""Gei (?) ".Chapter Ten:Treatment sentence. In this chapter, we introduce the form of treatment sentence in Huixian dialect, and make a further discuss to ambiguity phenomenon of passive sentence and disposal sentence. Combining with the application situation of "Gei(?)" and "Jiao(?)", we make a comprehensive analysis of the ambiguity phenomenon of treatment sentence, passive sentence and disposal sentence.Chapter Eleven:Conclusion. This chapter is a basic understanding of the whole thesis and problems to be studied in the future. And we elucidate some considering about dialect research.This paper intends to make up the inadequacy of Huixian dialect research scope, enrich the content of Huixian dialect research, provide valuable reference materials for further systematic and comprehensive research.
