| During the process of long-term historical development, each nation continuously create, develop and gradually enrich its own national culture and finally form a national culture with a distinctive style features and unique charm. It is this unique national culture that constitutes the nation’s spiritual bond and fundamentality of generation survival and development. Nowadays, with the high-speed development of human society, the minorities with small population are suffering the enormous challenge of survival and development. Faced with frequent cultural exchanges and advanced nature from the dominant culture, minority culture, especially from minorities with small population, is facing many straits of inheritance and development. Daur is one of the minorities with small population in the northern China. Because of the single oral existance without text expression, Daur’s national cultural heritage and development have to rely on verbal instruction from mouth to mouth, which accelerates the loss, disappearance and fracture of the Daur’s national culture. Daur’s traditional cultures in the aspects of language, religion, art, sports, clothing as well as customs, production methods, etc. have been gradually fading the Daurs’ life, and even some of them have disappeared, that is, root rupture. An Ethnic School is an important place for the heritage of national culture, but as current education system and education policy pay less emphasis on this function of national schools, ethnic schools’ function on national cultural heritage becomes weakened. Through a case study on Daur cultural experience and understanding on five Daur teachers and two Daur students in an Ethnic School, this thesis comes to understand the Daurs’ subjective experience in inner feelings, attitudes, emotions and understanding in an ethnic school when facing their national cultural current situation of fracture and inheritance. By the viewpoint of educational anthropology and the “in-depth description” method of interpretive anthropology, understand, explain and describe the influence process of the Daur culture to Daurs’ life and growth. In this thesis, the researcher takes five Daur teachers and two Daur students as an individual case from the researcher’s work unit, the Kui High School(a pseudonym), Pukui City(a pseudonym), Heilongjiang Province, applies many research methods including interviews, participant observation, field observation, diary analysis and records their life experiences and attitudes and understanding of life by interviewing authentic details from the original because we know that the formation of ideas and emotions is not born but from the individual’s life experiences. It is a kind of understanding and interpretation of the significance of the action of the deep-level cultural background to describe the Daur teachers’ and students’ cultural experience and understanding. On the basis of analyzing subject cognition, national feelings experience and national cultural heritage of five Daur teachers and two Daur students, use the theory of anthropology to explain their cultural attitudes to ethnic identity, national identity awareness, national language, religion, art, sports, etc. Have a sight into the national consciousness of the Daur teachers and Daur students and the plight of conscious development of national culture; get to know the tendency for Daur teachers to inherit national culture in the education of ethnic schools; seek the strategy and the path of realizing the national cultural heritage. Through research interviews, citing multicultural education perspective, provide a new understanding and new ideas for Daur schools to inherit Daur culture on the research basis of the practical operation in the heritage field of national schools. From the characteristics of the Daur subject cultural understanding, analyze the fundament of Daur cultural heritage---their own nation’s subject cultural consciousness. That is to say, the key of Daur cultural heritage focuses on the cultural heritage within the nation and the policy support to national cultural heritage from state’s will. This thesis gives an actual record on the breakage of Daur culture and at the same time shows a view to the process of cultural heritage with the hope of more inspiration of national culture phenomenon... |
