Cultural Critique Of Chinese Traditional Daily Ritual Customs

The critique of Chinese traditional custom in everyday communication is the connotation of Chinese modernization that from agricultural civilization to industrial civilization,so it will be very significant to the modernization of China.Chinese traditional custom in everyday communication,which contains basic necessities,weddings and funerals,reciprocity,is dominated by tradition,habit,experience and natural emotion.The characteristics of Chinese traditional custom in everyday communication is spontaneous and repetitive,this is leading to the spontaneous lifestyle,the alienation spirit of culture,and the experiential pattern of culture,which are not conducive to the development modernization of China.It is necessary for us to give a cultural critique to Chinese traditional custom in everyday Communication under the vision of the critique of everyday life series.Our intention is to break the pre-modern and the irrational pattern of culture in using Marxist theory and methodology.So that we can see the appearance of Chinese custom in everyday communication and the pre-modern pattern of culture.also,we can analyze the cultural elements that prevent the individual liberty and development and the progress of society.In addition,the reflection can help us to reveal the positive factors of custom which contributes to social harmony and the solidarity of community,to provide the cultural resources which is conducive to overcome the crisis of modernity,to construct the rational communication etiquette and cultural pattern which contains both traditional ethics spirit and modern cultural spirit.The research can not only be related to Marxist cultural theory but also correspond to the opinion that ‘To develop a strong socialist culture in China,it is critical to inspire the cultural creativity of the whole nation.It will help us to grasp the psychological characteristics of our own nation,straighten out the development direction of national culture,and establish a new pattern of culture,enhance national cultural self-confidence,and thus become a feasible path to promote the modernization of Chinese culture.
