Rhetorical Interpretation Of Science In The Perspective Of Contextualist Fusion

Along with the advance of the modern science,the scientific way of thinking has changed.As a kind of meta-analysis methodology,rhetoric gradually permeate rhetorical strategy study of the scientific invention and scientific discourse.The rhetoric of science,and rhetorical interpretation of science which extends of the basement of traditional hermeneutics,became important scientific explanations in postmodern philosophy of science.However,comparing with the traditional rationality,probability methodology still faces many difficulties,for example as rhetorical interpretation.So it becomes a meaningful research trend that how to answer contemporary challenge faced by rhetoric of science,and based on the scientific advancement to construct a mode of rhetorical interpretation of science.With in-depth study,rhetorical interpretation based on contextualism provides a fusion platform for scientific explanation,rediscovers the basement for communication and exchange for scientism and humanism,rationalism and irrationalism.And it facilitates the combination of syntactic analysis,semantic analysis and pragmatic analysis of scientific discourse on the basis of rhetorical context.This further provides a possible way for the construction of the mode of rhetorical interpretation of science.First,we reviewed the rebirth of rhetorical analysis in modern science,especially its infiltration to the scientific research domain.The development of traditional rhetoric and rhetorical criticism,the new rhetoric and philosophy of science provides conditions for the generation of rhetoric of science.Through the development of the last decade of 20 th century,the rhetoric of science experienced contextual mode of rhetorical dialectics,teleology and paticularism of rhetoric and functionalism of rhetoric,its most prominent need is a rational orientation and a fusion research.Second,we pay attention to the contextual turn of rhetoric of science on the fusion need,especially the rhetorical interpretation in this turn.Basically because the context and rhetoric are both derived from linguistics research,and contextualism has structured a typical mode and methodology in the philosophy of science.In addition,some foreign rhetorician have noticed that rhetoric of science performances contextual features.Such as contextual limit of syntactic representation,semantic foundation and norm of rhetorical interpretation,association between rhetoric and pragmatic.Therefore the contextual turn of the rhetoric of science is natural and inevitable,and the power of rhetorical interpretation cannot be underestimated.Third,we rethink two fundamental problems of rhetorical interpretation of science in the perspective of contextual fusion,namely the problem of unity and validity,and start the research from the challenge of incommensurability and relativism,rhetorical rationality and logical criterion.From these two aspects,we study problems as the contradiction between the static analysis and dynamic requirement of scientific text,the disequilibrium of case study and synthesis of theories,scientificity,rhetoric and sociality of science,interpretation and predictability of rhetorical analysis.Fourth,we analyze the methodology of the rhetorical interpretation of science,and on the basis of this,show contextual analysis of two main research ways of the rhetorical interpretation of science.In the perspective of contextual fusion,the rhetorical interpretation of science combines the rhetorical analysis and contextual analysis,which shows obvious superiority on the text analysis and case study.We research the contextual analysis in the rhetorical interpretation of science with examples of international context analysis and scientific controversy,and study the contextual features in the rhetorical interpretation of science.Last,through the historical analysis of mode of rhetorical interpretation,we illustrate the contextual construction and prediction in the rhetorical interpretation of science.Then we study the whole process of the rhetorical interpretation of science,discharge the difference between traditional scientific explanation and the rhetorical interpretation of science,and pay special attention to the rhetorical representation and interpretive process of science,and logical features of them.In the end,we study the control elements,evaluation system of rhetoric of science,logical feature of rhetorical judgement.In a word,through the study of rhetoric of science,we comb the concept of the rhetorical interpretation of science with a complete meaning of scientific explanation.Then through the understanding of connotation of the rhetorical interpretation of science,the grasping of the development trends and the analysis of the fusion research feature,we want to reveal the new vitality of the rhetorical interpretation of science in the perspective of contextual fusion,and hope to construct a relatively perfect mode of the rhetorical interpretation of science.So we can establish a more solid academic foundation for rhetorical thingking in science research,find a new way of rhetoric of science,and also demonstrate its academic value of the rhetorical interpretation of science in the philosophy of science and scientific explanation.
