Study On Kong Bohua’s Experience In Differentiating And Treating Febrile Diseases

ObjectiveMr.Kong Bohua is one of the four famous doctors in Beijing.He was particularly good at differentiating and treating febrile diseases.The study of his experience in the diagnosis and treatment of febrile diseases has not only theoretical value but also practical significance.MethodsIn this study,we chose the febrile cases from the Kong Bohua’ book as the research material,combined with the classical theory of traditional Chinese medicine,in order to try to analyse and discuss Kong Bohua treating febrile academic ideas,unique experience of clinical diagnosis and treatment.To provide reference for clinical use in TCM,and to inherit and develop some of his academic essence.This research we use the method of data mining and inductive reasoning to sorts out the laws and academic thoughts of Dr.Kong Bohua treating febrile diseases.Result1 Data Mining and analysis of Kong Bohua’s febrile diseasesWe used "Ancient and modern medical case cloud platform V2.2.1" software to sort out Mr.Kong Bohua’s experience in the identification and treatment of febrile diseases.A total of 144 cases of febrile diseases as the main symptom were screened,including 75 cases of males,65 cases of females,and 4 cases of unknown gender,with a total of 352 diagnoses.The study was conducted in depth of the aspects of fever and tongue diagnosis,pulse condition,syndrome distribution,disease location,treatment and drug analysis.In the process of grasping and analyzing the information,which reveals the potential law of Mr.Kong’s treatment of febrile diseases.The study suggests that the pulse frequency of fever in medical cases is mainly from high to low:large and fast,large fast of slips,string slips,powerful,etc.Single pulse and frequency from high to low are:fast,large,chord,powerful,flood,flat,slow,etc.In medical cases,the pulse mostly belongs to Yang pulse.Tongue coating frequency from high to low top successively is white greasy,not retreated clean,thick greasy,yellow thick,moss back,white thick greasy,dirty thick;The most frequent color of tongue is white,followed by yellow and red.The thickness and frequency of coating on the tongue were significantly higher than that of coating on the tongue.The condition and frequency of tongue’s body fluid are more coarse than moist.Analysis of the main accompanying symptoms and syndromes of fever in medical records.Concomitant description:constipation,diarrhea,thirsty,dizziness,vomiting,delirium,abdominal pain.Most symptoms were distinguished as Yang syndromes.The distribution of syndromes ranged from more to less:the damp-heat,the heat in the blood,the heat on the surface,the surface humidity,etc.Among which the damp-heat accounted for the majority of 60%.The distribution of diseases ranged from high to low:lung,stomach,liver,spleen,pericardium,stomach,indicating that febrile diseases is most likely to involve lung and stomach.Multiple organs are often involved,and other viscera should be taken into account in the treatment.2.Study on the diagnosis and treatment of Kong Bohua’s febrile diseases and his academic characteristicsOn the basis of the above research,this paper conducts a study on the experience and academic characteristics of Kong Bohua’s febrile diseases diagnosis and treatment from the perspective of clinical records,discusses the academic characteristics and clinical diagnosis and treatment experience of Kong Bohua’s febrile diseases diagnosis and treatment,and deeply explores the thinking,common legislation and medication characteristics of Kong Bohua’s febrile diseases treatment.First of all,from the "cause","onset","syndrome differentiation","treatment","care" and other aspects of Mr.Kong’s thinking on the diagnosis and treatment of febrile diseases overall analysis.Secondly,according to the pathogenesis and syndrome characteristics revealed by the first part of the study,the important pathogenic factor of "depression-heat" was extracted,and the academic characteristics of Mr.Kong’s treatment of febrile diseases from"depression-heat" were expounded.lt is proposed that "depression-heat" is an important link in the onset of febrile diseases,and that "depression-heat" should be treated from "shaoyang" to relieve the heat.Finally,the academic characteristics of Mr.Kong’s diagnosis and treatment of febrile diseases are interpreted from the following five characteristics:"following the Confucian classics,distinguishing Yin and Yang first","distinguishing the pulse to judge the situation,four diagnosing methods together","tracing the source,emphasizing the depression-heat","regulating qi ","caring for the spleen and kidney","preventing the disease from spreading".3.Study on the methods and new applications of Treatise on Febrile Diseases inheritanceIn the study,it is found that Mr.Kong had many innovations in the inheritance of Treatise on Febrile Diseases,such as "Xuanfu Daizhe Soup","Xiaochaihu soup" and "Improved Da Chengqi Soup".This study finds out "Xuanfu Daizhe Soup" in terms of drug composition,proportion,indications are creative used,like inula flowers and red ochre 3:1 in classic,Dr.Kong application proportion of 1:1,efficacy for "regulating liver inverse,harmonic spleen and stomach,phlegm and relieving,and drop on the inverse of the qi".Indications to expand for hiccups,coughing,vomiting,headache and dizziness,to promote bowels movement,etc.Instead of using small "Xiaochaihu soup",Mr.Kong made up his own "Mint Longdan soup",which emphasized "distinguishing between Yin and Yang" and highlighted the pathogenesis of "deficiency of Yin".The pulse-shape was mainly based on "large string or fast".His "Improved Da Chengqi Soup",Chinese rhubarb,changing method of taking to abandon its flavour to protect the stomach.ConclusionIt is believed that Kong Bohua’s thought of treating febrile diseases originated from Neijing and Nanjing.Kong Bohua attached great importance to "depression-heat" and put forward that"depression-heat" was an important link in the onset of fever.Differentiating and treating"depression-heat",attaching great importance to regulating qi from Shaoyang to release heat;The heat carrying humidity can disperse the Tri-jiao.Distinguish yin-yang and nourishing Yin to prevent disease transmission.In a word,Mr.Kong Bohua was experienced and distinctive in the treatment of febrile diseases.Through the above research,we can also explore its contribution to the academic inheritance and development of traditional Chinese medicine.Based on the objective and systematic perspective,this paper summarizes and elucidates Mr.Kong’s experience and academic characteristics in the treating febrile diseases.It is believed that it may be helpful to the current TCM clinical exploration in the prevention and treatment of febrile diseases.
