Western Zhou Dynasty Inscriptions On Bronze Concerning Land System Interpretation Difficult Words Monographic Study

Study on the history of Western Zhou inscriptions of the Western Zhou Dynasty is the first hand data,the history of land system in Western Zhou Dynasty is an important part of Western Zhou history.Scholars use the Western Zhou Dynasty bronze inscription to study the land system history of the Western Zhou Dynasty,and they have made great achievements,this article is based on the existing research results,combining new unearthed ancient text data in recent years,and make a new study on some important inscriptions that related to the land system of the Western Zhou Dynasty,in order to use these inscriptions better,The text is divided into three parts:The introduction first introduces the limitation of the name of land type bronze inscription,the total amount of land types of bronze,the achievements of previous scholars’ research.This paper also explains the reasons that selecting Qiu Wei He,Five Year Wei Ding,Nine Year Wei Ding,San Shi Pan,Big Ke Ding.The six selected inscriptions are closely related to the land system of Western Zhou Dynasty.The first chapter is the main part of the full text,it is divided into six sections,The structure of each section is the title of each inscription,introduction,shadow,rubbing,annotation,annotation and comment.The introduction part explains the problem of extension,collection,cataloging,and etc,which have a certain literature value.For shadow and rubbings collected from Wu Zhenfeng bronze inscription and image integration,We use the strict Liding inscription text,reading the words in parentheses indicate,this is a comprehensive explanation of the text to make the results of the text.Note parts use the sentence as a unit,Bring together the main doctrines of the successive generations and introduce in detail.In order to ensure the reliability of the material and avoid misunderstanding when readers read this article,we use the original texts.comment part is to explain some important words,general questions do not explain.The second chapter is divided into two sections,the first section is on the basis of annotations,giving a new annotation to the inscriptions and vernacular translation.The usual annotation of inscriptions,although we have Ma Chengyuan’s editor of the bronze inscription,Wang Hui’s Shang and Zhou inscriptions on bronze etc,but compared with new materials and new research results,they are lagging relatively.The second section is about some important words in the inscription,we write four articles.The Discussion on Yǜ of Hu Ding considers that Yǜ meaning sell,Draw Far Goodwill Nearby New Explanation,try to combine Shi Qiang Pan inscriptions neng shape,we make a new interpretation of Draw Far Goodwill Nearby,Neng meaning crusade,Study on “蜢”of San Shi Pan thinks that “蜢”meaning destroy,the purport of the San Shi Pan has nothing to do with the war,it is a record of a civil dispute.The whip in San Shi Pan according to the new Niao Xing He inscription’s can be identified whip,through the shape comparison,then make a new research of the whip in San Shi Pan.
