In the past four decades of reform and opening up,remarkable achievements have been made in China's aesthetic education.However,with the social changes brought about by the new technological revolution and globalization,past aesthetic education view is no longer sufficient to meet the requirement of the time.Hence,to build a aesthetic education view that is in line with the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics and take it as the principle of aesthetic education in the new era has become a new task.As the theoretical foundation of China's aesthetic education development,it's only natural for the Marxist view of aesthetic education to undertake this mission.Consequently,this thesis will apply the Marxist standpoints,viewpoints,and methods to comprehensively review the Marxist aesthetic education view.Through the latest discussion of the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era,it calls for a new aesthetic education view that is advanced with and meets the characteristics of the times.Taking this esthetic view as the foundation,based on the current situation of the development of aesthetic education in contemporary China,this thesis also provides support for the idea,purpose and countermeasures for the aesthetic education development that is urgently needed at present.This study is carried by three parts of the thesis:The first part sorts out and interprets the concepts and theories.Chapter One is the introduction.The second chapter highlights the formation and development of aesthetic education and Marxist aesthetic education.Through meticulous research on historical facts and historical materials,the view of Marxist aesthetic education has been defined,thus clarifying the research field and delineating research directions.Based upon this,the third chapter presents a discussion of the academic implication of Marxist aesthetic education.Following the scientific principle,it concludes the the theoretical core of Marxist aesthetic education from the aspects of existence,the philosophical foundation and the three dimensions.The second part of the thesis is sorts out the course of Marxism aesthetic education concept in China.After a detailed discussion of the historical context of the formation and development of the Marxist aesthetic education in China,it focuses on the interpretation of the Xi Jinping's aesthetic education of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.Through comprehending the connotation and logic of the aesthetic education of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era,a conclusion of the General Secretary Xi Jinping's new requirements for the construction of aesthetic education have been made to form a more scientific and rigorous attitude toward the development of aesthetic education.The third part consists of Chapter Five and Chapter Six.Through the inspection of the environment,team,content,and management of the contemporary aesthetic education development in China,the existing problems and reasons behind them are elaborated.In combination with the new requirements for aesthetic education put forward by General Secretary Xi Jinping,the implementing principles and countermeasures for aesthetic education in China are proposed which are conducive to the development of the Chinese socialist aesthetic education in the new era.
