Aesthetic education is also called as the education of aesthetic sense.It is mainly a form of education which consists of natural beauty,artistic beauty and social beauty,which aimed at improves the ability of students to feel and create beauty,achieves the goals of purifying personal mind,enhancing knowledge and skills and promoting the overall development of individuals finally.Aesthetic education plays a Non-negligible role in the improvement of individual aesthetic ability and comprehensive quality,to achieves the goal of quality education in China is inseparable from the role of aesthetic education.This paper selects the special research stage of the Republic of China,to promote the aesthetic education construction of contemporary colleges by interpreting the aesthetic education thoughts of the representative figures of the Republic of China.The first chapter is introduction part,which elaborates the writing background and significance of this research,summarizing the overall status of the research at home and abroad,introducing the overall idea,innovations and deficiencies of this paper.The second chapter mainly introduces the related concepts and theoretical basis of this research.The definition of related concepts are mainly about aesthetic education,the relationship between aesthetic education,moral education,intellectual education and physical education,and university aesthetic education.The basis of arguments Introduced from the aesthetic education thoughts in Marxism classic writers,the aesthetic education ideas in traditional culture and the Chinese Communist Party's aesthetic education thoughts these three aspects.The third chapter analyzes the social and historical background of the aesthetic education thought during the Republic of China.This partwill discuss the reasons of choosing aesthetic education thought during the Republic of China as a research,and then from the turmoil of the domestic political situation and the self-reflection of the patriots,the realistic dilemma of economic transformation and the extensive influence of Western learning,the growing crisis of belief and the ideological culture The three aspects of the exchange collision introduce the historical background of the aesthetic education in the Republic of China.The forth chapter elaborates on the aesthetic education thoughts of the main representatives of the Republic of China.It mainly introduces the aesthetic education thoughts of Wang Guowei,Cai Yuanpei,Tao Xingzhi,Feng Zikai and Lu Xun and other thinkers.The fifth chapter summarizes the characteristics of the times and the historical limitations of the aesthetic education thoughts according to the aesthetic education thoughts of the representatives of the Republic of China.Its characteristics of the times are mainly characterized by a strong atmosphere of human atmosphere,strong patriotism,close connection between aesthetic education and life,a trinity of aesthetic education mode,emphasis on the overall development of individuals and the carrier form of the combination of Chinese and Western.The historical limitations are mainly reflected in the excessive emphasis of the educational function of aesthetic education and the practical considerations from real life.The sixth chapter analysis the contemporary enlightenment of aesthetic education thoughts of the Republic of China.It is mainly embodied in adhering to the guidance of Marxist aesthetic education and perfecting the cultivation of college students' personality,cultivating teachers with aesthetic qualities and creating professional teachers,Constructing the curriculum system of “Great Aesthetic Education” and deepening the reform of curriculum teaching,through the practical use of multi-dimensional environment and broadening the implementation path of aesthetic education,drawing on the Western aesthetic education construction experience and constructing five dimensions of aesthetic education system with Chinese characteristics.
