| The church in the western world has been ravaged by aberrant visions of Jesus. While academic works have dealt with some of these corrupt cameos of Christ, too little has been written to equip local church leaders to respond to them and to train their congregants to react theologically, philosophically, and practically appropriate. A book written for church leadership and the intellectually interested lay-person is needed. This book manuscript project attempts to fill a much needed gap by supplying the intellectual history and key ideological components for five visions of Jesus corrupting the church. Additionally, it proposes some practical responses to each, along with helpful equipping measures for local church leaders. |
