They can be categorized into (i) alkali metal ion conductors and (ii) polymer electrolytes. Alkali metal ion conductors consist of sterically hindered phenol containing PEO and three modified rigid backbone or high Tg polymers. The polymer electrolytes are PEO grafted poly(p-phenylene terephthalamide) (PPTA-g-PEO), polysiloxane network and plasticized PEO.;The sterically hindered phenol containing PEO electrolyte has a conductivity of about 10;The oligo(ethylene oxide) grafted poly(p-phenylene terephthalamide) electrolytes exhibit ionic conductivities of 10;Other than the ionic conductivity study of these polymer systems, their thermal properties and other related characteristics have also been investigated. The possibility of incorporating some of the polymer systems into high energy density rechargeable battery are also explored. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Polymer, Systems, Ion, PEO | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
