In an effort to obtain information concerning the psychological effects of investigating child pornography and child exploitation, this study examined the negative psychological impact from working longer on the job as a child pornography and exploitation investigator. A specialized survey was given to 21 participants. Statistical analyses yielded no correlation between length of time served on a specialized the child pornography and exploitation unit and the survey administered. Future research should attempt this research on a larger scale.
