| This study examined the relationship between faith maturity and religious coping methods and explored the predictive ability of faith maturity and religious coping styles on anger expression in Southern women. The Faith Maturity Scale, Brief RCOPE, and State Trait Anger Expression 2 inventory were given to 118 female participants who had lived in the southern region of the United States for the majority of their lives and attended a Southern mega non-denominational church. Although this study did not find predictive power of faith and positive religious coping on anger suppression, subsequent analysis found that negative religious coping did have small predictive power for anger suppression. |
