Research On Chinese Coal Consumption And It's Efficiency Evaluatio

As one of China's main energy resources, coal plays a decisive role in China's economy development. It is of great importance to analyze and evaluate coal consumption in China for understanding and changing the current situation of China's energy resources consumption efficiency. This paper analyzes the relationship between the influencing factors, including economic growth, industrial structure, and the price of coal, technology innovation, environmental conditions, and coal consumption based on the supply and demand of China coal market. Also, by using econometric methods, it studies the long-term equilibrium between coal consumption and every influencing factor, as well as the influence of the fluctuation of every influential factor on the coal consumption. On the basis of analysis to current situation of coal consumption and its influencing factors, this paper analyze and evaluate coal consumption efficiency of China's industries and regions by using DEA method, and furtherly,studies the optimization of the coal consumption efficiency of important coal consumption industry. In accordance with the resul of the above empirical analysis, this paper gives the countermeasures and suggestions to increase the efficiency of China's coal consumption.
