Objective:The theory of human body structure is an important part of the theory of Huangdi Neijing.Huangdi Neijing systematically elaborates all aspects of human body structure and physiological functions, and it is also the source of many terms of human body. This study considers Huangdi Neijing human structure terms as the research object, through the methods of TCM philology and commentariology, sorting through all the terms the body, focus on the disyllabic terms(two or more syllables terms). On the basis of exegetical studies, combining the basic theory of the term naming of TCM,this study tries to establish a system of Huangdi Neijing human body structure terms and discover the rule and phenomenon of human body structure systematically,in order to provide theoretical support to terminology standardization of traditional Chinese medicine and Chinese medicine specialist dictionary compilation.Research Methods and Content:It is mainly studied by the method of exegesis in the philology of Chinese medicine.Specifically,it includes:(1)The combination of literal interpretation and connotation interpretation of the terms: static description of the basic features of the selected terms and explanation of their medical meanings;(2)Use practical and objective historical materials as collateral evidence for interpretation: use other items in Huangdi Neijing,or select other materials such as excavated silk and bamboo clips medicine books as reference works at the same time or a little later than the book as collateral evidence for interpretation;(3)The integration of source and flow: the time of Huangdi Neijing is taken as the cross-section,and the research method of longitudinal examination of source and flow.To trace the source of each term upward and to explore the flow downward. The thesis includes the following five chapters:The first chapter is the introduction. The theory of a discipline is based on a system of concepts.Noun terms are the linguistic symbols of scientific concepts.Starting from the language elements of Huangdi Neijing, the words in Huangdi Neijing are selected as the research materials, and polyphonic terms representing the human body form are taken as the research objects. The second chapter is an overview of the terms related to human body structure in Huangdi Neijing.A corpus of body structure terms in Huangdi Neijing is established by screening out terms representing human body structure.A total of 159single-tone terms and 652 multi-tone terms related to human body were obtained.According to the name of the indicated part,it can be divided into two categories: "actual part name" and "virtual part name".Further, the term "actual reference part name" is divided into two categories "fixed reference to a certain place" and "unfixed reference to a certain place".Finally,217 polyphonic terms representing the human body structure, such as head and neck terms, trunk terms and limbs terms, were determined as the focus of this study,to explore their occurrence, development, spread, evolution track and law in later generations. The third chapter is the polyphonic terms related to the head and neck of Huangdi Neijing.A total of 96 polyphonic terms related to head and neck were detected. There are 94 head terms and 2 neck terms. It is further divided into head overall terms, facial terms, the five sense organs terms, other terms and other sub-categories,and is examined and interpreted one by one. This paper tries to build a terminology subsystem related to head and neck in Huangdi Neijing. The fourth chapter is polyphonic terms related to the trunk of Huangdi Neijing.A total of 54 polyphonic terms related to the body trunk were found. There were 3 in the chest,3 in the flanks,8 in the abdomen,19 in the pelvis and 21 in the back.Among them, the terms of the basin and the back are divided into several subcategories in detail. On this basis, the relevant terminology subsystem of Huangdi Neijing is set up.The fifth chapter is related polyphonic terms of limbs in Huangdi Neijing.A total of 90 terms related to limbs were found.Among them, there are 20 limbs,22 upper limbs and 25 lower limbs. Each part of the term is divided into several subclasses. On the basis of examination and interpretation of terms,a subsystem of terms related to limbs in Huangdi Neijing is set up.Conclusion:The appearance of Huangdi Neijing marked the basic structure of TCM theory, and the concept system and terminology system of TCM were initially established. The Huangdi Neijing is also the source of many terms of human body structure.Based on a comprehensive investigation of the terms of human body form in Huangdi Neijing, this paper makes a nominal examination of 217 polyphonic terms related to human body structure in Huangdi Neijing, and the relevant conclusions are as follows:1.96 head and neck polyphonic terms were investigated, including 94 head terms and2 neck terms.Among them, there are a large number of facial terms and the five sense organs terms. The five sense organs terms can be divided into eight categories:general description, eye, tongue, mouth and lip, tooth, throat, nose and ear.Huangdi Neijing contains a very rich and detailed exposition of facial organs, and a large number of terms of eyes, nose, mouth, lips and throat that are not found in previous classics also appear in it.2.A total of 54 polyphonic terms of trunk were investigated, including 3 thoracic terms,3 flank and rib terms,8 abdominal terms,19 pelvic terms and 21 dorsal terms.Among them, pelvic terms are more abundant and can be further divided into pelvic terms and perineal terms.Posterior trunk terms are mostly related to the dorsal bones, including cervical vertebra, thoracic, lumbar and coccyx subgroups from top to bottom.3.A total of 67 polyphonic terms of extremities were investigated, including 20 general terms of limbs,22 terms of upper limbs and 25 terms of lower limbs.Among them, the upper limb terms are divided into shoulder, arm and hand from top to bottom. The hand is an important organ of the human body with a complex and special structure. The terms for lower limbs can be divided into four subcategories:thigh, knee, leg, and foot.4.The phenomenon of "multiple words with one meaning","polysemy" and " inverse morphemes " is common.Several different meanings are usually formed around a single concept, but with slight variations. These phenomena reflect the polyphonic process of Chinese vocabulary, which is one of the prominent characteristics of TCM terms, and also the concrete embodiment of the flexibility and creativity of TCM terms.5.The term to express the concept of body form and structure is not an isolated existence, but an interrelated organic whole.Based on the examination and interpretation of a single term, this study establishes a terminology system of human body in Huangdi Neijing, including three subsystems: head and neck terminology, trunk terminology and limb terminology, and explores the general rules of terms composition and use under the guidance of the holistic view and the holistic view of the department of traditional Chinese medicine.
