In order to solve the problem of the high-throughput test of the tensile properties of materials,especially for the high-throughput testing of the tensile properties of tiny specimens and components,and realize of low-cost,fast and efficient test evaluation and material uniformity evaluation for the tiny materials,complex structural materials,functionally graded materials,material welds,and service materials.etc,a high-throughput testing system for the tensile properties of tiny specimens was developed and verified.Based on the developed test system,a high-throughput experimental method for the tensile properties of tiny specimens was carried out,and the application was carried out in combination with engineering materials such as high-speed rail wheels and supercritical heat-resistant steel.First,the structure,control system and control software of the test system were designed and developed,and the test system was verified by metrology calibration and high-throughput testing of tensile properties of tiny specimens.Through metrological calibration,it was verified that the system meet the usage requirements of 0.5-level accuracy.Through the high-throughput testing of the tensile properties of tiny specimens,it was verified that the developed high-throughput testing system for the tensile properties of tiny specimens was feasible,and that the measurement precision between each test unit of the testing system was high,the dispersion of test results was small.Secondly,the high-throughput experimental method for the tensile properties of tiny specimens was carried out.The tiny tensile specimens were designed,and their preparation technology and size measurement methods were studied,and the preparation and measurement methods for tiny specimens were obtained.The high-throughput conditional experiments on the tensile properties of tiny specimens were carried out,and the tensile testing rates for tiny specimens with different diameters were obtained.According to the research conclusions obtained from the conditional experiments,high-throughput repeatability experiments were carried out on the tensile properties of tiny specimens with different diameters.The size effect of the sample was studied,and the critical dimension of the size effect on the tensile properties of the tiny sample was obtained.Finally,several different types of commonly used structural steels and steels used in major projects such as high-speed rail wheel steel,supercritical heat-resistant steel,high-temperature alloy steel,etc,were selected,and the aspects of grain size,chemical composition and tensile properties were analyzed and tested respectively.At the same time,the uniformity of the material was evaluated by the high-throughput test method of tensile properties of tiny specimens,and the uniformity test was carried out by taking high-speed rail wheel rims as an example.The related work provides a practice reference for the high-throughput,miniaturization and uniform distribution testing of material tensile properties.Innovation:(1)For the first time,a high-throughput testing system for the tensile properties of tiny specimens was developed,which fills the research gap in the industry.(2)The system was driven by a single motor in parallel to achieve multispecimen testing;the real-time and parallel communication design was used to realize the synchronous control and acquisition of each test unit.(3)Consistency measurement calibration and evaluation among the measurement units of the test system.(4)The preparation process and measurement method of micro tensile specimens were studied,and a standardized process for preparing tiny specimens was obtained.(5)For the first time,high-throughput experiments and methods of tensile properties of tiny samples were used,and application tests were carried out in combination with engineering materials.Taking high-speed rail wheel rims as an example,the uniform distribution test of tensile properties of rim materials was carried out.The high-throughput experiments and methods of tensile properties provides a practical reference for engineering applications.
