The processing accuracy of the NC machine tool is supposed to be the determination ofthe quality of product. With the high-speed development of NC machine tool technology,researchers are pay more attention to its accuracy of manufacture. Errors are mainly composedof three parts: Geometric error, thermal error and load error. And Geometric error which issupposed to be the key factor to machining accuracy is the actual machining accuracy. So howto improve the geometric accuracy becomes the key technology in improving machiningaccuracy.This paper presents a sensorless machine tool precision test method. It establish therelations between machine tool coordinate and information by grating ruler, encoder, so as toachieve a purpose for machine tool coordinate precision test. NC machine tool sensorlesstechnology overcomes installation inconvenience, long test cycle, costs, and poor generalityproblem.First, the current research situation of precision testing technology and precisionmodeling of NC machine tool is analyzed, and error sources and types of NC machine tool areintroduced as the carrier of grinder of construction of Chongqing motorcycle project. Machinetool accuracy of three test methods are expounded, and the error tracing and conditionmonitoring method of sensorless are researched.And, analyzation of the motion relationship and modeling of grinder geometric errorbased on the characters of GL5A grinder and Multi-body system theory, and obtain geometricerror formula by the combination of this model and the Circular Interpolation testing,parameters are obtained by Least Square Method.Thirdly, testing project on the sensorless accuracy testing of grinder was designed, alsothe development of automation technology OPC is discussed. In this paper I also introduce thestructure and data saving of OPC communication. Realization of data acquisition by OPCcommunication and VB programming. Obtaining the actual position of the movinginterpolation. Most of the data involved in the paper come from the construction of Chongqingmotorcycle limited liability company and the data are true and correct.Finally, on the basis of Circular Interpolation Track obtained by data acquisition, realize the analyzation and processing of the results. Error tracing and error separation technique isproposed, accuracy evaluation and testing table based on kinds of error parameters is built.The existence of periodic eccentric force is analyzed by the X axis for no-load testing. Also inthis paper, drawing of the grinder coordinate error diagram whose data are recognised, is allbased on the establishment of the grinder coordinate error accuracy testing model andmeasured datas. And it applied to the grinder of GL5A, demonstrates the feasibility andeffectiveness of the method.
