Study On The Discipline Theoretical Framework Of Comparative Safety And Practice

With the progress of science and technology and the differentiation of disciplines,the research of each scientific field is not limited to its own discipline,but breaks the boundaries of the field.In recent years,scholars are trying interdisciplinary research.They try to find a breakthrough between related disciplines or marginal disciplines.The basic way of thinking that guides this scientific act is "comparison".Based on this,in a very long period of scientific development,many comparative disciplines have been formed.With the research of safety science,the essence and deeper problems of safety science are highlighted.The innovation of safety science theory urgently needs to be inspired by breaking disciplinary boundaries,broadening horizons and learning from the research process and results of other disciplines.The rise of comparative discipline and the application of comparative method in the field of safety science are the breakthrough point to meet this need.Subsequently,a large number of safety comparison practices emerge in the field of safety science.However,these comparative practices are still in the analogical application of comparative method in the field of safety science,and have not formed a perfect discipline theory.Under this background,comparative safety is born in conformity with the need of guiding the practical theory of comparative safety.However,up to now,as a new discipline,the discipline theory of comparative safety is still very weak,and the research angle is single.Based on the existing research results of comparative safety,on the basis of summarizing and studying a large number of safety comparative practice literature,the problems in the development of comparative safety were summarized,the research content was defined,and the discipline theoretical framework research and practice research of comparative safety were carried out.In order to deeply understand comparative safety,clarify the research ideas of comparative safety,and then solve the problems,such as "What is comparative safety ","What should be compared","Why to compare","How to compare","How to carry out a comparison",based on the thinking path of "essential cognition-axiology-methodologypractice",the method of unifying history and logic,the method of comparison and transplantation were adopted to study the theoretical framework of comparative safety.Taking the historical origin of the establishment of comparative safety science as the starting point,integrating natural science methodology and social science methodology,comprehensively using theory of science,interdisciplinary theory,safety science principle,comparative methodology and safety science methodology,et al.,the discipline foundation,discipline attribute,discipline connotation,research object and discipline theoretical basis of safety science were studied and compared.On this basis,the discipline value,discipline methodology and practice mode of safety science were compared.Finally,three case studies were conducted,which were comparison of campus security management systems in Chinese and American universities,analysis of the impact of enterprise safety culture on enterprise safety management,and recognition of safety psychology from an interdisciplinary perspective.Through the case analysis,the practical mode of comparative safety was verified.The main research contents of this paper were as follows:(1)The essential understanding of comparative safety was studied.Based on the historical reasons of the emergence of comparative safety science,the basis of its existence was discussed and its disciplinary foundation was strengthened.According to the theory of science,the existing definition of comparative safety was analyzed,further the discipline connotation of comparative safety and the meaning of "comparison" were analyzed.On this basis,the author tried to determine the discipline orientation and the discipline nature of comparative safety.Combining the connotation of comparison with the research object of safety science,the research object and scope of comparative safety science were studied,the theoretical basis of comparative safety science was summarized,and the relationship between comparative safety science and safety science discipline system was explored.The study of the essence of comparative safety layed a foundation for the theoretical construction of comparative safety.(2)The connotation of discipline value of comparative safety was studied.Combining the concepts of value and discipline value,the discipline value of comparative safety was defined.According to the three elements of discipline value,the research category of comparative safety discipline value was determined.The necessity of comparative safety was determined,the irreplaceable difference between comparative safety and other disciplines was demonstrated,and further the academic status of comparative safety was strengthened.On this basis,the research objectives,tasks and functions of the discipline where clarified,which further embodied the discipline value of comparative safety.At last,the factors influencing the realization of the value of comparative safety discipline were analyzed.The study of the discipline value of comparative safety pointed out the direction of the discipline theory construction of comparative safety.(3)The discipline methodology of comparative safety was studied.The concept and connotation of comparative safety methodology,research object,research content and theoretical basis of comparative safety methodology were discussed.Based on the comparability theory of comparative safety,the hierarchy structure of comparative safety methodology,the construction objectives and principles of comparative safety methodology,the methodology system of comparative safety from the perspective of discipline was constructed on macro point of view,three comparative safety methodology systems of parallel comparison,impact comparison and interdisciplinary comparison were constructed based on the perspective of practice on micro practice point of view.The standpoint,vision and thinking habits of comparative safety research under different research objectives were expounded.The research of comparative safety methodology provided guidance for the theoretical research and application of comparative safety.(4)The practice mode of comparative safety was constructed.The comparison process was constructed from the perspective of the system,and the combination of twelve elements of the comparison system was defined.According to the logic of "finding problems--analyzing problems--solving problems",the general steps of the comparative research process were sorted out by establishing the basic procedure of comparative safety practice.Based on the three methodological systems of comparative safety from the perspective of practice,the practice mode of comparative safety was constructed from the perspective of micro practice operation:the practice model of parallel comparison,the practice model of influence comparison and the practice model of interdisciplinary comparison.The study of the practice mode of comparative safety standardized the concrete operation process of the practice of comparative safety.(5)Case studies of comparative safety practice was conducted.Based on the methodology of comparative safety and its corresponding three practice modes,three case studies were conducted,which were comparison of campus security management systems in Chinese and American universities,analysis of the impact of enterprise safety culture on enterprise safety management,and recognition of safety psychology from an interdisciplinary perspective.The verification from practice to theory was completed by the case studies.It provided reference for the concrete application of comparative safety.There are 43
