Fu Qingzhu’s Inheritance And Development Of Academic Thoughts On Women’s Diseases In "Synopsis Of The Golden Chamber"

Objective: The academic thoughts of the three chapters on women’s diseases in "Synopsis of the Golden Chamber" are an important component of Zhong Jing’s theory,laying a foundation for the development of the science of gynecology in later generations,and the academic thoughts have been continuously improved through the practice and summary of doctors of past dynasties.Fu Qingzhu is versed in the diagnosis and treatment of gynecological diseases and occupies an important position in the field of gynecology.His representative work,Fu Qingzhu Gynecology,not only inherits previous experience,but also makes theoretical and practical breakthroughs and developments,which has a profound impact on the diagnosis and treatment of gynecological diseases.The purpose of this study is to explore and summarize the main academic ideas of Fu Qingzhu in gynecology,as well as the inheritance and development of the academic thoughts in the women’s disease section of the "Synopsis of the Golden Chamber".To sum up,this study aims to explore the thinking of gynecological syndrome and treatment based on the "Women’s Disease" section of "Synopsis of the Golden Chamber" and " Fu Qingzhu’s Gynecology " as the starting points.By presenting the Zhongjing theory in the Women’s Disease section of "Synopsis of the Golden Chamber",as well as Fu Qingzhu’s gynecological theory and clinical application,it opens up new ideas and prescriptions for the clinical syndrome differentiation and demonstration of modern Chinese medicine in gynecologyMethods: This paper mainly adopts the method of literature research,combining with the appropriate evaluation of the development of modern Chinese medicine theory,to explore the significance of ancient medical book theory for modern Chinese medicine theory and clinical practice.This study conducts a systematic analysis of Fu Qingzhu’s gynecological theory,summarizes his gynecological academic thoughts,and inherits and develops the academic thoughts of the women’s disease section in the "Synopsis of the Golden Chamber".The three theories of women’s diseases in "Synopsis of the Golden Chamber" are the basis of this study.On this basis,referring to the relevant medical literature commentaries of previous dynasties,this paper focuses on the analysis of three articles on gynecological diseases,systematically sorting out,analyzing,and summarizing the etiology,pathogenesis,syndrome differentiation,and treatment of gynecological diseases,and summarizes Zhong Jing’s gynecological academic thoughts.On this basis,it explores and analyzes Fu Qingzhu’s gynecological diagnosis and treatment thoughts as well as academic characteristics,summarizes Fu Qingzhu’s inheritance and development of "Synopsis of the Golden Chamber" gynecological academic thoughts.To explore the clinical application of Fu Qing’s thoughts on gynecological diagnosis and treatment,and to refer to the findings of modern gynecological clinical physicians to reveal their significance for clinical syndrome differentiation and demonstration in modern Chinese medicine.This study consists of three parts,which are described as follows:The first part is the research on the academic thoughts of the three chapters on women’s diseases in "Synopsis of the Golden Chamber".The pregnancy chapter embodies the idea of "there is no death due to a cause,nor death due to a cause",and attaches importance to "removing disease and preventing miscarriage.".The postpartum section emphasizes multiple postpartum deficiencies and blood stasis,with the treatment characteristic of "combining deficiency with excess,and attacking the actual situation first".Women with miscellaneous diseases attach particular importance to qi and blood,and attach importance to the use of external treatment.The second part discusses Fu Qingzhu’s characteristics on gynecological diagnosis and treatment as well as academic thoughts.The significance of Fu Qingzhu’s academic thoughts on gynecological treatment based on clinical differentiation of symptoms and signs in gynecological medicine is explored,and the clinical thinking and methods of traditional Chinese medicine are expanded.The third part discusses Fu Qingzhu’s inheritance and development of gynecological academic thought in "Synopsis of the Golden Chamber".Based on the findings of modern gynecological clinical physicians,explore the influence of Fu Qingzhu’s academic thoughts on gynecology on modern physicians.Results: Through induction and collation,it was found that Fu Qingzhu’s understanding of the etiology of female diseases was basically consistent with Zhang Zhongjing’s "three major causes of female diseases: deficiency,accumulation of cold,and accumulation of qi.".Fu Qingzhu follows principle of "no death for any reason,no death for any reason" in the treatment of pregnancy sickness through dialectical use of pregnancy taboo drugs,and follows thought of "eliminating diseases and ensuring safe birth.".For the understanding and treatment of postpartum diseases,Fu Qingzhu inherited "multiple deficiency and multiple stasis" principle of postpartum diseases,"not limited to postpartum,not forgetting postpartum",and the treatment has developed on the basis of strengthening the health and eliminating pathogenic factors.In terms of gynecological miscellaneous diseases,Fu Qingzhu inherited thought of mainly regulating qi and blood in "Synopsis of the Golden Chamber",attached importance to the differentiation of qi and blood,and developed the theory of viscera differentiation and the theory of Chong Ren Du Dai meridians.The treatment of dai Xia was based on "dampness",and the liver,spleen,and kidney were in harmony;Regulating menstruation and strengthening the liver,taking into account both spleen and kidney;The idea of nourishing the kidney and regulating the liver and spleen with seeds.Conclusion: Fu Qingzhu’s inheritance and development of gynecological academic thoughts in "Synopsis of the Golden Chamber" mainly focused on: first,his understanding of the three major causes of women’s disease;"Women’s miscellaneous diseases take Qi and blood as the general principle,and regulating Qi and blood is the most important.".Second,the principle of "no death due to reason,no death due to reason" shall be applied to pregnancy diseases;Third,postpartum "multi deficiency and multi stasis" is suitable for invigorating the body and removing pathogenic factors.On this basis,the thinking of gynecological diagnosis and treatment has been enriched and developed:(1)treating the underlying diseases based on dampness,creating a "five color underlying diseases" treatment;(2)Regulating menstruation is based on qi and blood,with emphasis on tonifying and cautiously attacking,and harmonizing the three organs of liver,spleen,and kidney;(3)To make pregnancy,the priority should be given to nourishing the kidney,take into account the liver and spleen,and regulate the Chong Ren Du Dai meridians;(4)Pregnancy focuses on nourishing qi,blood,and abortion,with emphasis on nourishing qi;(5)Postpartum blood deficiency is the main treatment,followed by qi deficiency.The treatment is mainly to replenish qi and blood,and strengthen the foundation;The treatment of postpartum blood stasis is based on the addition and subtraction of biochemical decoction.Based on Zhong Jing’s academic thought of treating gynecological diseases,Fu inherited and developed it to broaden the treatment thinking for future gynecological clinical practice.
