| We-media,which relies on digital technology,has become a new carrier for the development of media culture and has brought revolutionary changes to the development of media culture.From the viewpoint of the production,dissemination and consumption subjects of media culture,the production and dissemination subjects of mainstream culture are national government agencies or functional departments(including propaganda ministries,television stations,newspapers,publishing houses,etc.),so mainstream culture is also considered to be the culture from the official sector;elite culture is considered to be the culture from the academic sector,and its production and dissemination subjects are concentrated in elite groups(including expert professors,cultural scholars,artists The production and dissemination of popular culture is mainly concentrated in the private sector,and is considered to be a form of everyday culture that uses the mass media as a means to delight the general public,such as popular music,poetry,serial novels,film and television,small videos,etc.The phenomenon of youth subculture has become a more prominent phenomenon in popular culture.The emergence of We-media has provided new possibilities for the democratization of information,and while liberating public discourse,it has also profoundly influenced the structure and existence of mainstream and elite culture,as well as the mode and means of communication.How to examine and distinguish the values of We-media in the context of multiple cultural forms in a special historical period is not only an inherent academic requirement for media culture research,but also an important issue of the times in the study of value leadership in contemporary media ecology.The paper is structured as an academic response to this issue.In terms of structure,the thesis first describes and analyzes the embodiment and representation of the cultural values of We-media,then explores the process and causes of the formation of the values of We-media,then compares them with mainstream culture,elite culture,and popular culture,and finally argues how to reasonably guide the development of the benign values of We-media.In terms of specific content arrangement,except for the introduction,the whole thesis is divided into seven parts.The first part starts from the difference between We-media and non-We-media,and Wemedia and traditional media,to focus on We-media as a new carrier of media culture,from which the similarities and differences are summarized through the analysis at the phenomenal level,and reveal the traces of the influence of the ideological theory behind.It also analyzes the penetration and reshaping of spiritual life and cultural creation by We-media discourse,and draws out the characteristics of media culture belonging to this era.The second part analyzes the impact of We-media on media culture by analyzing and criticizing the symbols,texts and mirroring objects of We-media,from content production to visual presentation to audience acceptance.The third part focuses on the impact of We-media on mainstream culture and elite culture,summarizes the new features of mainstream cultural values and elite cultural values manifested by the boost of We-media technology,and analyzes the reasons for the emergence of these features.The fourth part is about the study of mass culture values in We-media,starting from the production mechanism of mass culture in the context of We-media and the relationship between mass culture values and mainstream culture values,and providing an in-depth analysis of the mass culture values in the context of We-media.The fifth part is devoted to the study of youth subculture in popular culture,analyzing how this culture has gradually become a widely influential cultural form through We-media from a marginal niche culture,focusing on the influence of subcultural phenomena such as fan economy and gender aesthetics on the values of young people.In the sixth part,the development trend of We-media culture is studied,and the impact of the development of artificial intelligence on media culture is analyzed.The last part focuses on the disorder of We-media and the ecological governance of media culture,analyzes the various disorders caused by the conflict,collision and game of different values brought by We-media,and further discusses the relevant suggestions and countermeasures for the ecological governance of media culture.Overall,the thesis analyzes and researches around the values of We-media,elaborates on the multicultural context of We-media,the cultural characteristics of Wemedia,the pluralistic values of We-media,and the cultural ecological governance of We-media,outlining a more complete orientation of the pluralistic values of We-media and its impact and changes on people’s social life.At the same time,using a multidisciplinary perspective,it explores the developing and changing landscape of We-media,identifies the different classifications and characteristics of We-media culture,the collision,dialogue,intermingling and symbiosis between different values,and the modification,guidance and control of mainstream values on popular values,subcultural values,emerging values and other cultural forces,revealing the unique characteristics of contemporary Chinese We-media culture. |
