Research On Semantic Bleaching Of Northeast Mandarin

The Northeast Mandarin is an important branch of the North Dialect.Along with the rise of dialect research,Northeast Mandarin research gradually be taken seriously,syntax,semantics and pragmatics have done,but the current academic research mainly concentrated in the aspect of vocabulary and grammar,semantics is the most weak link.At this stage,the number of this research field are more than minimal and belong to the case study.The existing related researches are lacking of the systematic description,and motivational explanation.In the study of semantic bleaching,most of the research objects are mandarin,the research results of semantic bleaching involving dialects are relatively weak,and the systematic research on semantic bleaching of Northeast Mandarin need comprehensive and in-depth excavation and enrichment.In view of this situation,this thesis takes semantic bleaching of Northeast Mandarin as the research object.Description and interpretation in the category of verbal communication in Northeast Mandarin,the semantic meaning of words,phrases,sentences and other language units extends to other cognitive domains,and the semantic content changes from concrete to abstract,from individual to group,from objective to subjective,and the semantic transparency change from high to low.The basic rational meaning is vague and abstract in this process,part or all of the semantic features disappear,and the non-rational meaning,such as connotative meaning,social meaning,emotional meaning,reflective meaning,collocation meaning and thematic meaning,is prominent.The linguistic data sources of this thesis include the Northeast Mandarin dictionary and network information.The research method of this thesis includude Corpus analysis,Synchronic and Diachronic,Objective description and Theoretical interpretation.This thesis sorts out and generalizes the words and sentences in the Northeast Mandarin which semantic evolution presents a state of bleaching from the angle of semantics,grammar,pragmatics and cognitive mechanism,describe the kinds of adventurers,explain along the path,pragmatic effection and the mechanism.This thesis tries to describe and explain the phenomenon of the semantic bleaching in northeast dialect comprehensively and systematically.The research results of this thesis have double theoretical and practical value:on the one hand,this thesis will further clarify the connotation of semantic bleaching and enrich the theory of semantic evolution.It provides theoretical support for the study of the semantic evolution of Northeast Mandarin,and makes the study of Northeast Mandarin develop in a more comprehensive and balanced direction.On the other hand,this thesis establishes a semantic bleaching corpus of northeast dialect,which provides a corpus support for subsequent scholars to study Northeast Mandarin from the semantic perspective,valuable dialect examples for semantic bleaching research,and enrichis semantic bleaching arguments.This thesis consists of five chapters:The first chapter explains the research content,framework and method: Mainly explains the research object and the background of semantic bleaching in northeast dialect clearly,demonstrates the purpose and significance of the research from multiple perspectives,systematically reviews the current research results of northeast dialect and semantic bleaching,and comprehensively explains the research method and the source of linguistic data.The second chapter comprehensively describes the types of semantic bleaching in northeast dialect: According to the meaning attributes before semantic bleaching,the phenomenon of semantic bleaching in northeast dialect is divided into four categories,including thing thesaurus,sound thesaurus,behavior thesaurus and number thesaurus.The semantic bleaching of things includes the evolution from specific things to subjective things,from objective phenomenon to volitional behavior,from objective things to subjective evaluation,and from specific things to highest level.The semantic bleaching of sound semaurus includes the evolution from objective sound to critical behavior,and from specific sound to fuzzy property state or highest level.The semantic bleaching of behavioral action thesaurus includes four aspects: the evolution from objective behavioral action to subjective behavioral action,from specific behavior to ambiguous behavior,quality or state,and highest level.The semantic bleaching of quantitative thesaurus includes four aspects: the evolution from specific numbers to abstract things,quality or state,and highest level,and evolution from objective units to subjective evaluations.The third chapter systematically analyzes the path of semantic bleaching in northeast dialect: Mainly analyzes the concrete grammatical structure,which is the specific enviroment of this phenomenon,and summarizes the path of semantic bleaching in northeast dialect as three evolution paths,including lexical structure,syntactic structure and discourse context.The path of semantic bleaching through lexical structure includes word-to-morpheme,part-of-speech conversion and structural recombination.The path of semantic bleaching through syntactic structure includes phrase to word and sentence to word.The approaches to semantic bleaching through discourse context include selective topic marker,evaluative topic marker and exclamatory topic marker.The fourth chapter explores the pragmatic function of semantic bleaching in northeast dialect: Semantic bleaching has the pragmatic function of showing the subjective attitude of both sides of communication in northeast dialect.According to the practical effect of this phenomenon in verbal communication,pragmatic functions can be divided into five functions:pragmatic negation,pragmatic affirmation,pragmatic exaggeration,pragmatic euphemism and pragmatic emphasis.Pragmatic negation includes criticism,warning and irony.Pragmatic affirmation functions include recognition and praise,pragmatic exaggeration functions include exaggeration and exaggeration,pragmatic euphemism functions include blurring taboos and resolving conflicts,pragmatic emphasis functions include highlighting images and reminding topics.The fifth chapter comprehensively explains the cognitive mechanism of the semantic generalization in northeast dialect: Demonstrates the deep cognitive correlation between the semantic contents before and after the evolution,and divides the cognitive mechanism of the linguistic phenomenon into metonymy mechanism,metaphorical mechanism and double-level cognitive mechanism according to the different associative properties of the semantics.Metonymy mechanism includes parts metonymy whole mechanism and whole metonymy parts mechanism,metaphorical mechanism includes ontological metaphor mechanism and structural metaphor mechanism,and bi-cognitive mechanism includes metonymetaph mechanism and metaphtonymy mechanism.In each category,the cognitive the relation of semantic evolution of subjective and abstract semantic under the influence of the mechanism is systematically analyzed.
