Digital Visual Design Reconstruction And Application Research Of Dunhuang Murals

Dunhuang grotto frescoes are the "Encyclopedia of the Middle Ages" of ancient Chinese civilization,the treasure of Oriental cultural and artistic resources,the important remains of the ancient Silk Road and the important witness of the integration of Chinese and Western civilizations.The author believes that after more than 40 years,the Chinese design system has gradually matured under the traction and cultivation of the Western design system paradigm.At the turning point of the digital information development and with the system platform becoming increasingly mature,a design system rapidly emerging without in-depth integration of China’s profound "local culture".The shortcomings of its acquired development have become more and more prominent.In the digital age and aesthetic iteration,the digital visual design is used to sort out,summarize,condense and analyze the valuable and influential aesthetic concepts and visual elements in Dunhuang frescoes that are suitable for the spiritual needs of cultural development in the new era.To make it an organic part of the promotion of design culture in the new era has important value and significance for the contemporary and future of Chinese design.This thesis is based on the visual design system in the digital age and from the perspective of contemporary digital visual communication media and development paths,it conducts a relatively in-depth comparative study and discussion on a series of application issues of Dunhuang frescoes art in contemporary design.The focus of this thesis is based on a large number of comprehensive Dunhuang visual design works and interviews,describing and analyzing the contemporary overview of Dunhuang fresco art from a macro theoretical perspective,summarizing and sorting out the Digital Dunhuang Plan.Sort out the dissemination form,media characteristics,concept transformation and existing design problems of the visual design of contemporary Dunhuang frescoes.Secondly,from the perspective of multiple dimensions of contemporary digital design,excavate and sort out the cultural and morphological commonalities between Dunhuang fresco art and contemporary digital visual design,as well as the modeling concept,aesthetic concept and stylized characteristics of Dunhuang fresco art from the perspective of digital vision.Third,under the visual framework and language boundary platform of digital visual design,decode,extract and sort out the color system,graphic structure,texture representation,spatial composition and decorative elements of the digital visual elements of Dunhuang frescoes.Fourth,based on the contemporary digital visual design theory and creative practice in more detail,based on the characteristics of digital visual design,from the cultural analysis layer,visual presentation layer,carrier fusion layer,digital presentation layer,experience layer of reconstruction principles and reconstruction paths.Five types of interactive layers regulate the design and reconstruction of Dunhuang frescoes and combined with the design form expression and innovative application for practical discussion.This thesis strives to explore the intertextual relationship between Dunhuang design and contemporary design as a whole and systematically.The purpose is to establish a framework for the research on contemporary digital design of Dunhuang culture,to provide design creators and theoretical researchers with a research path with reference value and application significance,to help the dissemination of Dunhuang culture and the development of contemporary digital visual design in China.
