In recent years,digital illustrations have existed in a variety of art forms in modern design,which can not only enrich and beautify life,but also enhance the aesthetic appeal of art and culture.In the modern Internet era,information is spreading rapidly.Compared with paper-based reading media such as newspapers and magazines,people prefer to obtain information through channels such as computers and mobile phones.In this context,the expression of digital illustration came into being.More and more new media platforms use the form of illustration to convey information,express emotions,and improve the taste of reading,and draw digital illustrations with the help of computers,mobile phones,hand-painted tablets and other tools.,Has become the main presentation form of contemporary information dissemination.This article uses modern digital image processing integrated technology to study and create Dunhuang culture through the form of digital illustration.Its main work is divided into the following three parts:First,conduct an in-depth study of the selected topic,put forward innovative points for the creation of Dunhuang theme illustrations in this article,and analyze the origin,characteristics of Dunhuang art and modern digital illustration cases,and summarize the multiple values of modern digital illustrations.Explain the application principles and functions of the illustrations and start the creation.Secondly,it analyzes the cultural characteristics of Dunhuang,and extracts representative elements such as Dunhuang architecture,sculptures,and murals.Combining the cultural and spiritual connotation of Dunhuang’s own elements with modern digital illustration expressions,using digital image processing comprehensive technology to reconstruct the classics with new expressions such as composition,color,angle,language,etc.,to give fresh vitality to Dunhuang culture,complete Dunhuang scroll illustrations with Dunhuang cultural characteristics.Finally,the theme of the total volume of digital illustration in this article is "Meeting Dunhuang",which is designed in the form of a long scroll,divided into three parts,namely "Dream Building Dunhuang","Dream Back to Dunhuang","Dream Dance Dunhuang".The first part takes the Chinese dragon as the beginning of the long scroll,and selects the landscape of the crescent spring,implying that Dunhuang culture has the same enduring value as the dragon culture;the second part is centered on the nine-story building,and the Maitreya Buddha statue is also enshrined in the work.The deification of Maitreya Buddha is expressed outside the nine-story building in an illusory form,meaning that he wants to remove the suffering for all living beings and return to the world a beautiful and happy home;the second part is mainly about Samantabhadra,surrounded by various flying heavens,showing The joyful,singing and dancing Dunhuang flying holy land,through the extraction and expression of Dunhuang elements,symbolizes the prosperity and prosperity of Dunhuang culture.This article uses digital image processing integrated technology to create a long scroll illustration design work with Dunhuang theme,which enhances the visual image of the famous millennium Dunhuang culture,protects and inherits Dunhuang culture,and at the same time provides unique cultural and creative products for Dunhuang cultural promotion.Promote Dunhuang culture and promote creative Dunhuang cultural products into the lives of the public.
